Colorful New Arrivals by Tiny Modernist Forest View Drum - Wow... is this cute! Tiny Modernist's delightful woodland scene is stuffed full of charming small motifs and lots of bold color. There are fat little critters on here, a mouse, hedgehog and racoon, all tucked amidst luscious flowers and spotted mushrooms. There are even fairy houses too! It is worked with DMC floss and stitched on just about anything you want. Cheryl has chosen a 36ct hand-dyed 'evergreen' fabric... so use that pic as your fabric guideline. Super cute, this measures 70 x 180 - so will be 4-1/2 x 11 on 16/32ct. What a pretty drum to perch on your kitchen counter - it crosses the seasons, and is cute and colorful from all its sides! Garden Party - This is just a cheerful Spring-y piece... and you have all year to get it done before next Spring! Measuring 113 x 143, it's stitched with DMC floss, and will finish about 8 x 10 on a 14/28ct. I'm a fan of breaking this kind of pattern up into individual cushions... you get multiple sizes and shapes, and different designs on all, but yet they all go together when you nestle them together in their little basket or bowl! Use the same trim on all of them, or 3 or 4 coordinating colors to go with all.

Big-skirted, Colorful Ladies The Stitch Witch - There are only 6 colors of DMC in this busy portrait - black, white, orange, green, gray and yellow. The Stitch Witch measures about 10 x 13 on 14/28ct, and her world is decorated with the alphabet, tiny stitching scissors, threaders, pins and needles, buttons, her cat and of course, a few ghosts! They've garnished the edges of the un-framed cover model with various buttons and threads... that's actually kind of a neat suggestion for a shadow box finishing treatment! Presented as a colored-chart leaflet. The Book Goddess - Something colorful and lots of fun to stitch... she measures 10 x 13 on 14ct, and is done with DMC on Mint Lugana. Lots of Tiny Mice! Oh my gosh, these are so cute! Mouse's Halloween Stitching came out last year, but Mouse's Schoolhouse is newer. Presented in small card format, each of these is printed in a full color chart, and they finish just under 4 x 4 on 32/16ct. Halloween uses only 7 colors of DMC or hand-dyed; Teacher uses 8. Hallo's pumpkin is really a pin cushion with scary stitched pins poking from the top! You might want to use some furry wool thread for the mice, add some metallic for those scissors and moon, and maybe find a few beads to use on the sunflower's middle. Quick and colorful, they'd be fun stuffers in between your halloween pumpkins and mini dried Indian corn ears. Lucky Mouse - Here is our bitty mouse very busy again. Tiny Modernist has a Teacher Mouse and a Stitcher Mouse and now a Lucky Mouse! Small card format, just as cute as can be! Mouse's Laundry Day - Here's a 4th little mouse pic! A companion design to our Lucky, Stitcher and Teacher Mice, this is just fun and cute. It might actually make you smile if you see it hanging in your laundry room (especially if yours is new and gorgeous like the ones on the house-re-do-shows.) Mouse's Pumpkin Pie - Another cute mouse design, this one features 4 little motifs that would be cute individually as tiny blocks or on 4 sides of a tiny cube. Try placing them horizontally so you can make a drum shape. Stitch count is 59 x 59 - but each motif is only about 20 x 25... so super cute! The Fairy Tale Trees Cheryl's collection of these charming trees promises to grow - as there are tons of fun stories to cover yet! Each of these is presented in a full color leaflet and coded for DMC. They all measure 10 x 13 on 14ct. Look them over... find all the cute single motifs in these that are recognizeable all on their own... might make some cute individual ornaments or pin cushions! Alice in Wonderland Tree - This is like her Wizard of Oz Tree... straight out of the Fairy Tale books! Finishing a generous 10 s 13 on 14/28ct, and done in DMC, the background is a pewter color. All the fun little people in here, a fun way to remember the story. The Wizard of Oz Tree - Here's a cute new piece by Tiny Modernist! Everything Wizard of Oz! Now... if you don't want the 'tree' shape... think about a set of stand-up blocks... or some individual pin cushions. There are lots of great design elements in here. Look at how friendly that flying monkey looks - they were so scary in the movie! Toto is pretty cute, and maybe you have some green metallic you can add to the Emerald City? The Cuckoo Clocks Cheryl has three of these so far... two have been released as months-long stitch-alongs (hence the higher prices) and one releasing just as the entire chart. All are generous in size - 140 x 180 or 200 - all coded for DMC, and all are colorful and really cute.
A Colorful Set of Releases Spring Bunny - Isn't this the most aristocratic Rabbit? She's elegant, and dressed in her finest velvet black hat. Peeking through the garden flowers, she'd make a beautiful 'plant poke' in an Easter Basket. Might be a little intimidating watching over the Jelly Bean bowl though. Measuring just 72 x 72, and stitched with either Weeks hand-dyeds or DMC. Choose any pretty neutral background fabric. Chart runs $10.00 Cactus and Caravan Bell Pull - Cactus, and flamingoes. Southwestern-feeling motifs and that cute retro-camper... we googled all the design elements in this and find it is Baja, California! Measures 65 x 301, it is done with DMC floss and will finish about 3-1/2 x 17 on 18/36. I love to pull out 'just parts' of things like this - make a couple of single stand-ups or pin cushions - there are a lot of charming borders in here... see what you can do with it! Quick and cute, might be fun to add thin metallic aqua to the water, and decorate your finished item with some shells! Winter Foliage Tree This is a delightful smaller design. Winter-y in flavor to brighten up your Winter-y spaces! Presented in smaller card format, this is stitched on Natural linen with plain 'ol DMC floss. It measures 68 x 78, so if you make that little tree shape, yours might be 3 x 4 on 20/40ct, or 4-1/2 x 5 on 32. Just easy, and classic!
It's a Bright and Colorful Christmas Ho Ho Holiday - This is a medley of darling mini-designs - all organized just so. Measuring 127 x 178 - it finishes about 8 x 11 on 16/32ct. Cheryl has coded this for hand-dyeds or DMC - 13 different shades. I see a whole set of individual pin cushions here... or several small ornaments... you could even take that village down at the bottom and add the Ho Ho Ho or the stamp to it, and finish into a drum shape. Lots of possibilities with this - beads, sequins, metallics? Full color HUGE chart $16.00. Bright Bellpull - Another burst of color... this one measures 5 x 10-1/2 on 16/32ct. Another one to split apart - you get the ornament section at the top, the sentiment in the center and the festive house with guards at the bottom! Fantastical Greenhouse This was originally introduced as a 5-part stitch-along... but now all 5 parts are together in our set of charts... the whole set runs $30.00. The design mearues 181 x 181 and is done on 'Nessie' fabric by Picture This Plus. It's a gorgeous sea-green blue fabric, and we have it in several counts. Coded for DMC, your greenhouse is filled with fairies, unicorns, gnomes - even a dragon! Super colorful and very cute.
A Spooky Night Stitch this cute holiday medley of designs - it's small at only 127 x 178 - so it's only 8 x 11 on 16/32ct. Cheryl stitched hers on Cobblestone Lugana - which isn't made anymore (!) so she suggests Sage/Summer Khaki. Charted for only 8 colors of DMC or hand-dyeds, I think a whole little bowl of assorted-sized individual pun cushions of all of these would be cute! Full color chart $16.00

A Trio of Christmas Designs Joy to the World - This is a bright and fun piece. Stitched with DMC on something close to/or white, on 18/35ct it measures about 5-1/2 inches in size. The individual ornaments might be fun stitched just by themselves too - you could put them on a wreath or swag of greenery, making a fun, smaller project with just as much stitched personality! Presented as a full color chart. Santa and Mrs Claus - At first, I thought these were door-stop-sized projects... but each finishes a mere 3-1/2 x 6 on 16/32ct! Stitch the Mr and Mrs to perch where-ever you like - right into your tree, on a window sill, decorating a wreath... they'll go anywhere! Small Fall Sewing & Trick or Treat - New Charts from The Tiny Modernist Small Fall Sewing is a fun tiny chart that stitches up into a 3 x 5 cushion. It'd be really cute done on those plaid mesh pouches, we think. Regular DMC, pretty fall colors. Small Card Chart $7.00 Trick or Treat is a fun T or T scene complete with green-faces and bony skeletons. Choose any fabric you like, definitely add metallics into that green, the white and some of the black and you're set! DMC colors of black, white, 553 and 907 - that's it. Make a Little Magic Another cute medley scene dealing with Halloween by Tiny Modernist, this is coded for DMC floss. It measures only 90 x 120 - so finishes about 5 x 6-1/2 on 18/36. I'm a big advocate for taking things like this and splitting them up into little individual cushions. You get all the cuteness, they look GREAT all tucked into a bowl, and if you put them right next to something else - like the phone charging station, or the candy bowl, or the kitchen island counter - everyone paws through them - and actually notices and ENJOYS them! Holly Jolly Santa from The Tiny Modernist What a fun little retro-flavored Santa! By Tiny Modernist, this is a chart stitched with regular DMC floss. The entire design measures about 4 x 9 on 14/28... but if you stitch just the Santa face, he's only about 4 x 4! The large, beautiful, colored chart that makes the stitch a little easier, is only $9.00.
Winter Traditions Sampler - Here is a seasonal companion to Cheryl's Autumn piece... this is stitched on Dark Cobblestone linen with shades of DMC floss. It does have Christmassy touches in it, but actually you COULD leave the wreaths off the door, take the lights off the house, and leave the ornaments off the evergreens, and you'd probably be fine! Stitched on 32ct, it finishes about 7-1/2 x 11... just a nice size. Presented as a leaflet. Autumn Traditions Sampler - This looks like it'd be a fun jigsaw puzzle to put together! A delightful neighborhood - it kind of looks Halloween but really isn't. The smoke plumes coming from the chimneys are not ghosts! The pumpkins aren't carved... and I did look - there are no trick-or-treaters! BUTTT colors are great, and it looks to be a fun stitch. Finishes approx 7-1/2 x 11 on32ct. Coded for DMC the chart is huge and colorful - easy to read. Summer Traditions Sampler - The third in this seasonal series... the village is charming, the tiny seaside, the park gazebo, we get a little 4th of July -- but not too much -- so you can hang this out all summer long and be OK. Christmas, Night, Mermaid, and Halloween Terrariums This is a fun little set of designs... tiny scenes contained in glass. My favorite is the dead relative buried in the Halloween yard! Each is presented in a full color 6 x 9 chart - $9.00 each - and coded for DMC floss. They all finish the same 4 x 6 on 16/32ct. I'm not sure where you'd hang them, but they might look really cute finished as rounded stand-ups stuffed with walnut shells, so they'd be heavy little fabric bottles on the counter!
Tiny Modernist has some fun releases for this Spring! Spring Rabbit Pillows - Aren't these the cutest little things? Choose any white you like to work on (or pale gray or pink?) these use BITS of DMC 963, 3733, 353, 352, 772, 989 and 3799. Measuring approx 3 x 5 on 14ct, perch them in a basket with Easter Eggs, or in a candy bowl... or next to plant pots! They'd even be cute hopping around in your bowl of other stitched cushions! The stitching is easy enough so you could do both sides. Spring Chicken - Wow, this is eyecatching and cute! Measuring just 66 x 66 - it finishes under 4 inches on 36ct. It's shown in a flat finish, but I think a free-standing cube would be cool - because you could set it between plants, or on a sill. Coded for DMC, choose a garden-y green fabric background for this.
Love Grows Here - Is this the perfect Spring Greeting decoration or what? Choose a cheerful fabric color and your DMC, and you'll love stitching with all the pretty colors... finishes approx 5 x 9 on 14ct. We Should BEE Friends - 'A day without a friend...' This whole thing measures about 6 x 8 on 14ct. Truthfully, I like the hive in the pot and that pretty row of flowers... I think I'd do the bees too, and call it good! Stitched on Country Vintage Mocha - which comes in several counts - it calls for regular DMC.

Halloween Spooktacular Ornaments This is a three-leaflet set of 12 small 4 x 4 inch designs. Cuter than cute, it's a fantastic set of coordinating 'personalities' that I find charming. Worked on a darker background, all with the same 7 shades of DMC - Cheryl has these coded for Weeks hand-dyeds as well. Very vintage in feel, she also includes a digital pic of the entire set stitched together.
Bright and colorful Treats Coming An Irish Blessing - A pretty border of greenery surrounding the classic blessing... choose a crisp white background ... everything is worked with DMC, and finishes 6-1/2 x 8-1/2 on 28. The Garden Hare - Another cute garden-y scene, this is stitched with DMC and looks good on a light blue hand-dyed fabric. Finishes 6 x 7 on 14ct.
Tiny Modernists' Black Crow, Crab Dance and Karma Cameleon are a trio of cheerful animal panels. Each measures 66 stitches square, features that same checkerboard edge, and bright DMC color. (I think you could add beads to these!) Presented as small individual charts.
Stitcher's Ornaments Whip up a trio of cute ornaments for a seamstress or sewer in your life! Tiny Modernist calls these 'Stitcher's' ornaments... but personally, I am allergic to sewing machines - no matter how cute they are, and thread that sews on buttons! BUTTTT, this is a pretty set of small cushion sized designs - each about 30 x 40 in stitch count. Charted for DMC, choose a crisp white fabric... and get these stitched for next Christmas!
Mushroom Forest Isn't this the most charming little mushroom garden? All it's missing is a tree stump with a tiny fairy door! Measuring almost 8 inches round on 14ct, it's stitched with DMC - just a colorful and happy little forest!
Ocean Pearl Tiny Modernist has finally finished her 3-part series of The Ocean Pearl. We now have all three parts, and they are offered together - so you don't have to 'hunt and gather' to collect them here and there. OP is stitched on 28ct Stoney Point Linen - a muted soft green shade. Measuring 129 x 180, it finishes approx 9 x 13 on the 28. You get a cute mermaid, that Pirate Sea Captain, and their Treasure Chest of gold and jewels. The 'glass globe' is full of a busy underwater community of whale, octopus, turtle, star and jelly fish - all stitched in bright, whimsical and happy colors of DMC. I need to buy a beach-condo so I can stitch this and have a place to hang it!
Fantasy Biscornus - Beginning January of 2019 This is a set of unique subjects (!) all stitched into approx 4-inch squares. Stitched on both sides... you really end up with 24 designs in this series. Stitch them flat and frame them, or make small pin cushions, or do the offset Biscornu finishing treatment for the tufted versions. The first design is the dragon; next is a mermaid. Others will include a gnome, genie, unicorn... you get the idea. More cute and colorful stuff by Tiny Modernist!
Just Go Left When nothing goes right... just go left! That just about says it all! By Tiny Modernist, this is a small chart that stitches up into a 6 x 6 piece on 16/32ct. Coded for DMC, it'll work on multiple fabrics... might be cute to stick in your office?
Vintage Sewing Set Tiny Modernist has a fun little pin cushion design - with coordinating fob that advertises 'vintage' but I'm not sure what that refers to! Stitched on white (or whatever you want) in 6 shades of DMC, the border has little buttons all over on it.You could add some real ones to it. Poke in some real safety pins... maybe even a couple of glass-headed pins 'into' the cushion. It's a cute design -'vintage' or not! - and it finishes about 2-1/2 x 9-1/2 on 32ct.
It's a Mermaid Life A darling collection of exciting sea life! Tiny Modernist's 8 x 10 medley is stitched on anything aqua-colored that you want. It features the cutest mermaids, fish, crabs, whales, seahorses, even volcanos and a pirate ship! You could add sparkly beads for the bubbles, lots of metallics in the fish and mermaids... it's just a fun little piece! Presented as a 6 x 9 full color chart.
Halloween This is a sweet little Halloween scene that released in 2017. Finishing only 5 x 10-1/2 on 14ct... choose something halfway dark or mangy for this - it uses DMC floss. The Simple border is part one, with the central designs all parts 2, 3 and 4. We have EVERYTHING all together now, so no 'collecting-stress!' Just a cutie, you could stitch some of the little people or the house individually and make little stand-ups!

Cute Pirates, Princesses and Vikings Oh my gosh, these are the cutest patterns for a little one's bedroom walls... or pillows on their bed!!! Charts by Tiny Modernist, each of the three measures about 100 x 115 stitches each, so they'll finish approx 7-1/2 x 8-1/2 on 14/28 count fabrics. Charted for regular DMC or Anchor floss, they don't call for special stitches or any embellishments -- but you could always add any of them you want! I just thought they were a fun set of designs for someone who loves your needlework!!!! (actually, we were laughing in the shop -- remembering that these Vikings were actually NOT nice guys! ... and probably most pirates weren't either... and there are dragons and serpents... but we liked these anyway!!!)
