Words to Live By
This is the first of 13 patterns that can all be stitched by themselves... or grouped around this main central design. Releasing in 13 separate charts, the center is here now - January of 2019, and the rest will follow monthly in 2019. (Join our Auto-ship, or forget that option and get just the parts you like as they release!)
Stitched on black (your choice of fabric and count), the center measures about 8 x 8 (on 14/28), while each outer design measures in at approx 4 x 4. Cheryl has the freebie connecting border chart available on her website, so that'll give you the layout guide for all of this. Bright, cheerful DMC shades... everything pops against that black... just hopefully not your eyes! Her charts are beautifully and clearly presented in full color on super-heavy, glossy card stock.
Fantasy Biscornus of the Month - Beginning January of 2019
This is a set of unique subjects (!) all stitched into approx 4-inch squares. Stitched on both sides... you really end up with 24 designs in this series. Stitch them flat and frame them, or make small pin cushions, or do the offset Biscornu finishing treatment for the tufted versions.
January's design is the dragon. February is a mermaid. Other months will include a gnome, genie, unicorn... you get the idea. More cute and colorful stuff by Tiny Modernist! Join our auto-ship, or forget that and just choose the ones you like as they release later this year.
Easter Bunny House
We now have the Egg-shaped house (part 1) with its yard, and floors one (#2) and two (which is part #3) of the house. Part 4 is still coming... and is the top floor of the house.
Just something cheerful to pull out every year to enhance your holiday decorations! The entire house finishes 136 x 179 or about 8-1/2 x 11 on 32ct.
This is a sweet little Halloween scene that released in 2017. Finishing only 5 x 10-1/2 on 14ct... choose something halfway dark or mangy for this - it uses DMC floss. The Simple border is part one, with the central designs all parts 2, 3 and 4.
We have EVERYTHING all together now, so no 'collecting-stress!' Just a cutie, you could stitch some of the little people or the house individually and make little stand-ups!
Sewing Room Motifs
By Tiny Modernist, this leaflet features a trio of cute designs all featuring buttons, bobbins, scissors and threads. The largest measures 8-1/2 x 11 on 14 or 28ct. Stitched with 26 shades of regular DMC floss, all the fun things in there just make your creative fingers twitch to get at them!!!
Cheryl has a smaller pin cushion design in here, as well as a tiny fob or tape measure cover - all of them make a really cute set of pieces. The main design is shown mounted atop a purchased sewing basket. Presented as a leaflet with super-colorful and clear colored symbols on the chart.
This is Tiny Modernist's newest Six-part Stitch Along design -- it's a cut-away of Santa's Bustling House! Coded for DMC floss, this measures approx 9 x 11 on 32ct. The background shown is a khaki color... but light or medium blues would work too. The main leaflet features the house outline and outside details, while the subsequent 5 rooms are all presented on separate little card charts.
Scheduled to release over 6 weeks, we have everything together now... they have now all arrived. Talk to us about fabric choices -- you have MANY! Such a cute design, the rooms and all the things in them are just charming!!!!!
The Haunted Mansion
This is a cute cut-away of quite the busy, haunted Halloween mansion! By Tiny Modernist, this first chart features the house outline, roof, moon, and everything going on in the yard. Each of the 6 rooms (that are blurred out in this pic to keep them a surprise!) is offered in a separate little chart (but those are ONLY $2 each!!!) The main house is worked on 32ct Haunted Linen by Picture This Plus. It finishes approx 10-1/2 x 14.
Each of the tiny room designs finishes approx 3 x 4, and they are all cute by themselves -- in case you don't want to stitch the whole house. I happen to know Room 1 is Dracula in his bedroom. Room 2 is Miss Witch -- she's cooking something green and bubbly! Room 3 Is The Library -- and it's haunted by a ghost! Room 4 Is Dr Frankenstein's lab. Room 5 Is the front porch, and Room 6 is the dining room -- complete with skeleton guests! It is DARLING!!!!!!
Year of Animal Fun & Frolic
Tiny Modernist has finished up this series of designs - the full set is now pictured here. They are unusual animals celebrating the months. Presented in chart format, each will finish approx 4 x 4-1/2... depending on your fabric choice and count. (36ct will make them less than 3 inches)
You can make individual pillows/cushions or join them all together using the freebie border chart. You can even change the month to the name of the animal or someone in the family.
DMC flosses, every one of these has been colorful and cute and has featured UNIQUE animals. Giraffes, squirrels, foxes, a crab, flamingo, porcupine, and raccoon... it has been a cheerful set.
This set released in January of 2018, ended in December of 2018.
New Small Designs
All presented in small card format, each is coded for DMC or Anchor floss.
- Every Day is an Adventure -- This finishes approx 5 x 5 on 14ct... love everything about this one!
- One Stitch at a Time -- Good advice whether you're a stitcher or not! Finishes approx 5 x 5 on 14/28ct.
Tiny Modernist has been 'collecting' a design... and it's finally all here now! *Merry Christmas* is a charming scene of Santa and The Mrs at The North Pole, surrounded by all their forest friends. Measuring approx 8 x 10-1/2 on 32ct, it's stitched with DMC floss. I don't know why it's so endearing... but it really is!
Presented in three parts... we have gathered them all together so you aren't messing with pieces and parts. All the design parts are here... just add fabric and floss!
This is a whimsical chart that companions our other Tiny Modernist designs for Pirates, Vikings and Princesses!!! (we don't see too many designs with Vikings and Pirates on them!)
Just a fun thing for a special little person's bedroom -- what a cute bed pillow or door sign! Presented as a chart, it is coded for DMC or Anchor floss and finishes approx 8 x 9. Nothing too involved... just makes you smile, and hopefully someone else too!!!
Tiny Modernist has a set of 4 delightful halloween-inspired designs presented in leaflet format. Each of the little guys is stitched on something crisp and white... ANY count will work for these... and is coded for DMC or Anchor floss. Super-fun colors of teal, with pops of yellow, orange black and white... these are just plain striking!!!!
These finish approx 3 x 4 on 14/28ct. The chart gives instructions for finishing them into the ribbon-trimmed 'half-boxes'... there are 11 actual photos in the instructions! These would be cute on perforated paper; and they'd be cute if you stitched them with some bright metallics as well!
Tiny Modernist helps you travel EVERYWHERE!
Cheryl's cute set of cities and countries to visit keeps growing -- we've added 15 MORE to our collection! Presented as small cards, they all follow the same color scheme -- 7 basic DMC colors -- they are all the same size, Choose the cities and countries you have been to -- stitch them up -- and add a trip photo on the matting!
Use them for the fronts of small photo books, or stitch a bunch of them in a long string, and put trip photos beneath each one! Choose any white fabric, on 14/28ct they finish 3 x 5 each. (makes we want to dig out my suitcase and PACK!!!)
A Few Travel Destinations!
Cute little designs offered in small card format -- these would be fun to stitch and add to your photo albums from trips you've taken! All of them are around 40 x 70 stitches -- charted for regular DMC floss.
Nothing fancy about them, they are something you'd have picked up though -- if you'd seen them in a shop along the way. They all call for the same color palette as well.
The Circus is in Town
Cute and colorful -- charted for DMC or Anchor, this finishes approx 7 x 7.
Add metallics or cute buttons if you want! Presented in a 6 x 9 chart.
Pretty colors in this -- the design size is 75 x 75.
Choose any white fabric, finishing instructions with pics are on the chart's back cover.
Gnome Sweet Gnome
How sweet is this bitty scene??? A mushroom house and hedgehog -- is that the family dog?
Might make someone smile if this were to be a housewarming gift!!! Small chart.
We saw the finished pin cushion models from this -- they were really cute!
Put them on gingham or polka dot linen -- they were 2 x 5 and 2 x 3-osh each!
Another cute pin cushion design -- there are 11 different designs stitched on the 15-sided biscornu.
The main piece measures approx 4 x 7.
Happy Easter Trio
The cutest things on here are the sheep and bunnies! The main piece is 4 x 5 -ish, the little fob is 27 x 27 (but you could leave off the year and it'd be half the size).
The biscornu is super-cute -- like the others, it'll be fine finished flat if you like that shape better!
Spooky Halloween Trio
A dinky 14 x 21 stitch count fob, the cute little biscornu cushion and the 4 x 5 main piece.
You don't HAVE to finish the cushion into the biscornu shape -- just make it square -- and add a big spider button to the center web!
Aren't they??? A set of 4 matching snow globes, these are actually on the generous size at 60 x 67 stitches each.
Good DMC colors in them, add some metallic or opalescent to the snowflakes and maybe a few beaded eyes, and find some wool thread in your stash for some furry mittens???
Cute Pirates, Princesses and Vikings
Oh my gosh, these are the cutest patterns for a little one's bedroom walls... or pillows on their bed!!! Charts by Tiny Modernist, each of the three measures about 100 x 115 stitches each, so they'll finish approx 7-1/2 x 8-1/2 on 14/28 count fabrics. Charted for regular DMC or Anchor floss, they don't call for special stitches or any embellishments -- but you could always add any of them you want!
I just thought they were a fun set of designs for someone who loves your needlework!!!! (actually, we were laughing in the shop -- remembering that these Vikings were actually NOT nice guys! ... and probably most pirates weren't either... and there are dragons and serpents... but we liked these anyway!!!)
For the Kitchen!
Retro Kitchen Mixer
Just too darn cute! 60 x 63 Stitches... DMC or Anchor... offered as a small chart.
Another fun thing for a first new kitchen! It'd be fun to find a retro set of glasses and lemonade pitcher at the flea market -- kind of like those pictured on the cover -- and use this as a housewarming gift! Offered as the chart, stitch count is 56 x 146.
Husband in This House
Oh, we couldn't pass this one up! Not necessarily the best graphics surrounding the verse... maybe you have other artwork you'd like better... but the VERSE is what got us!
*The opinions expressed by the Husband in this house are not necessarily those of the Management.* 6 x 8 on 14/28ct.
A small chart of a small *Canned Ham!* This would be another cute housewarming gift!!! 39 x 55 Stitches... just cute!
Just a quick 8-section design full of tiny winter-motifs. I think the DMC colors are popping out to me! 3770, 436, 166, 3761, 3766, 3760 and 169... everything fits into a petite 6 x 9 on 14ct.
Offered as a leaflet.
Modern Christmas to All
A *Canned Ham* being pulled by Santa's reindeer!!! What a way to travel for the Holidays! Tiny Modernist brings us this delightful design in leaflet format -- stitched on something neutral with DMC floss.
On a 14/28ct it'll finish approx 5 x 10. Wouldn't it be fun for someone with an RV?
