The Nutcracker Collection from Shannon Christine Designs
Gosh, we needed this chart a couple of months ago! A gorgeous collection of 12 nutcrackers - we counted 6 different sizes - a pair of each. The colors are beautiful, and because you have so many different color options between the 12... you have ready-made conversions for all of them.

Stitch count for the main piece is 171 x 200, Crackers are coded for DMC with metallic touches. The tallest is 90, the smallest is just 40 stitches. Re-arrange them however you want... but they are cool just the way they are presented too.

A Few New Things from Erin Eiizabeth Designs
  • American House - A really nice and organized little house scene... it measures only 70 in stitch count, so less than 4 inches in size! The two patriotic smalls are even quicker - just 40 x 40 each! DMC floss, all three designs are in this chart.
  • Believe - Wow, I LOVE this one! Choose a deep midnight-shaded fabric. This is stitched only in a creamy white, so you want fabric dark enough to set off the cream. The stitch count is only 80 in size - so on 16/32ct this measures 5 inches in finished size. After you get your material, then look at your white - do an ecru, a light gray, something with a little tan - you can choose any 'white' you like!

Shannon Christine has 4 new designs that are SMALL! Measuring just 43 to 65 in stitch count - the all finish around 3 inches each! Nothing too big to commit to! The digital images they provide give you a fabric guide... everything is done with DMC floss, and each is its own separate chart.

  • Party Animal is a fun design. I don't know the size, but guess at about 6 x 9.
  • Orange, Green and Blue Butterfly - These have a stitch count of 99 x 69.

Three Seasons from Erin Eiizabeth Designs
An arrival of new designs... all of them are trimmed with Rik-Rak!
  • American Flag - Kind of a coverlet-inspired piece, the stars and stripes are stitched with only 2 colors (a red and a blue) of hand-dyed thread! Meauring 101 x 71, this finishes a petite 4 x 5-1/2 on 18/36ct. I think it'd make a really cute block stand-up or mattress-style pin cushion.
  • Spring Blooms - Sweet little houses... I see this one finished into a three-sided triangle block or a 4-sided one, with decorated fabric on the 4th (back) side, or maybe your family name on that side? Might be cute with the top open and a little glass vase in there holding a few flowers. Each pic is 70 x 70, so finishes about 4 inches square.
  • Pumpkin Lane Sampler - I like the colors in this one. The soft oranges and golds mixed with the dirty whites and faded denim blues... they're all pumpkin colors! You could take out the alphabet and stitch something like 'Welcome to our Patch' and make a door sign out of this. The bottom row of pumpkins might make a really cute pin cushion, and you could do this whole thing in a long row to sit on a windowsill. Stitched on Dark Cobblestone Lugana.

Red, White Bloom; House Trio, Witch's Brew and Farm Fresh Trees
Just a few seasonal designs by Shannon Christine... All are offered as charts, everything is coded to DMC. Choose any neutral fabric colors or counts from your stash... sometimes that determines how you'll finish it. Larger 7 and 10 counts lend themselves to pillows, 18/36 looks great made into tiny pin cushions, and brick stand-ups.
We've hit all the seasons with these 4 designs, and as I look at them, I see a tiny 'tea-bag tag' for that Witch's Brew. It's only 58 x 67, so if you stitch it over one on 28 Lugana, you could make a 2 x 2 tag-on-a-string - what a cute Halloween decoration peeking from something!
  • Red White Bloom - 123 x 50 - So 7-1/2 x 3 on 32.
  • House Trio - 143 x 85 - so 9 x 5 on 32.
  • Witch's Brew - Only 58 x 67 - Make that tea Bag Tag at 2 x 2 on 28, or a 3-1-2 inch pincushion on 18/36.
  • Farm Fresh Trees - 70 x 70 - Will make a 4-inch ornament stitched on 18ct perforated paper.

Summer Designs from Erin Eiizabeth Designs
More easy, seasonal designs to stitch in a jiff... all are presented as charts, everything is coded to DMC, and there are lots of ways to break these up into smaller bits for fobs or ornaments, if you don't have time to stitch them all!
  • Garden Shed - Shown against a darker background to make the floss colors pop, the entire design is about 100 stitches square - if you like to finish, you COULD stitch each block of this individually and then make 6 tiny blocks to stack this way!
  • Red & White Smalls and Red White & Blue Smalls - I didn't realize until these came into the shop that the designs are basically the same except for the color key. Get one or the other - the red and white one does still call for some blue in it. Measures 131 x 86 - so the whole thing finishes about 9 x 6 on 14/28ct.
  • Red White & Blue Sampler - A cute little cabin/house with a very festive yard! Measuring 167 x 118 - it's a generous 8 x 12 on 14ct. If you are lucky enough to have a cabin/house like this, it'd be fun to substitute the alphabet for your family name and display this all summer long.

Several New Designs from Shannon Christine and Erin Elizabeth Designs
  • My Sunshine - A cheerful little design - this measures only 56 x 57 - so only 4 inches on 14ct. If you do a 28ct Lugana over one, you're looking at 2 x 2! Coded for DMC. Just Happy!
  • Kiss Me - This little guy came out too late to get finished for St Pat's Day this year... but there's always NEXT year! Only 39 x 46 - about 3 x 3 on 14ct - there are several good fabric options for this. Cute and bright!
  • Fruit Salad - Gosh, I just LOVE these colors, especially stitched against that deep black background! Fruit Salad lets you use all the bright colors in your 'refrigerator box' of threads... it measures 90 x 90... so will finish about 6-1/2 inches square on 14. It'd make into a bright and festive little cube to perch on your kitchen counter... and none of the fruit will ever spoil like the bowl of fresh!
  • Farmhouse Sampler - This one is by SC's daugher, Erin. Cute, ranch-y looking farmhouse complete with barnyard on the side... you could easily break out that barnyard, and do it individually. Very organized and balanced piece... it's coded for DMC... and finishes 12-1/2 by almost 7.

What's Cracking from Shannon Christine Designs - click to see more Easter Bunny from Shannon Christine Designs - click to see more Egg Hunt from Erin Elizabeth Designs - click to see more
What's Cracking, Easter Bunny and Egg Hunt
Shannon Christine and Erin Elizabeth Designs have three colorful new designs to celebrate Spring and Easter! Presented in three separate charts... each is coded for good 'ol regular DMC - and don't they look great?

Choose some pretty pastel fabrics to work these on. (I'm always a fan of adding a little metallic sparkle or beads to patterns like these - Rainbow Gallery has Petite Treasure Braid - metallic - thin as floss, it comes in 90+ colors. RG's Wisper is another furry option - very thin, perfect for 14 aida or 32ct linen stitching.)
What's Cracking measures 75 x 87 - so a mere 4-1/2 x 5-1/2 on 32ct.
Easter Bunny measures 126 x 91 - so 8 x 5-1/2-ish on 32ct.
Egg Hunt measures 63 x 63 - just 4 x 4 on 32ct.

Christmas Snow Fun Chart from Shannon Christine Designs - click to see more
Christmas
This is a pair of designs that are actually pretty much the same. Stitch the red and green version if you want it to be Christmas. Do the blue version if you want it to go into January and February.

Both are 96 x 76 - so finish about 5 x 7 on 14ct. The little sections would be smaller, and they'd make cute ornaments, cushions or tiny stand-ups. Coded for DMC, colorful and quick.

Christmas Stamps Chart from Shannon Christine Designs - click to see more Christmas Stamps
A pair of coordinating designs... both very small at only 90 x 59 - so 3 x 5 on 18/36ct! Dinky enough for scissor fobs!

Actually, these would be really god on 18ct white perforated paper - then mounted on felt and cut out for small individual ornaments - we're talking like 1-1/2 inches in size - just petite! Use some white Wisper for the fur, Petite Treasure Braid for the opalescent snow, and petite seed beads for glisten!

Jolly Santa from Shannon Christine Designs - click to see more Holly Jolly Fairies from Shannon Christine Designs - click to see more Desserts Sampler from Shannon Christine Designs - click to see more
Jolly Santa, Holly Jolly Fairies, Desserts Sampler
  • Jolly Santa - Here's a classic Santa getting ready to do one of his favorite things - jumping down your chimney! Beautiful shading, he's coded for DMC... and all the tiny black dots on the digital cover image signify glass beads - for a little extra pop! His sack of toys is detailed and pretty awesome, and the whole thing measures 122 x 137 - so a nice 9 x 10-ish on 14/28ct. Truly a lovely piece to stitch and hang year after year!
  • Holly Jolly Fairies - a trio of tiny fairies - not usually associated with Christmas - these do have poinsettia dresses though! Dancing with gifts, tinsel and glass balls, they are cheerful and sweet. Each fairy measures about 40 x 50 - so just a petite 2-1/2 x 3. Coded for DMC, there are beads and metallics called for as well. The charts are huge, REALLY clear and nice... the backstitching is printed in different colors and the bead placement is highlighted as well. (I wish everyone charted their designs this clearly, she needs to give lessons!)
  • Desserts Sampler - What a fun and colorful piece to stitch! The digital image on the cover is decidedly hard to see properly, but there are pretty shading and backstitch details in these tiny desserts. Stitch one or two singly for a Valentine Treat, stitch a bunch of them and make them into individual cushions for a little sweet bowl... or do the entire piece as is... it measures 86 x 108 - just 5 x 7 on 32ct. Coded for DMC... I'm opting for a bowl of cushions with a few bits of candy nestled in between!

Halloween Pals from Shannon Christine Designs - click to see more
Hallwoween Pals
Halloween Pals sports a very retro/antique/vintage look. The little cat and pumpkin people measure just 27 x 60 - so only 1-1/2 x 3-3/4!

Both are in the same chart - coded for DMC

All are charted individually, coded for DMC and need to be done on something that will let the white be highlighted. Lots of shading in these little guys...
Donut Peek measures 60 x 79 - 3-3/4 x 5 on the same 32ct.
Sweet Shop Owner and 3 Customers are all 50 x 50 - so just 3 x 3 on 32ct!

Winter Chickadee, Winter Fox & Winter Owl from Erin Elizabeth Designs
Three New winter Babies by Erin Elizabeth Designs... even though the chart covers are shown with digital images... you can tell they'll be really pretty when stitched. Each measures 89 x 89 in stitch count and is coded for DMC. Erin doesn't suggest fabric, so the covers hint at a dusty blue or wintery-gray color. You choose color and count - on 16/32, these will be about 5-1/2 inches square.

Winter Owl calls for 34 shades of DMC, Fox uses 41, and Chickadee needs 33! The charts are not in color, so there is a lot happening in them with all the color changes... but lots of visual impact in your little 5-inches when you are finished!

  • You Crack Me Up needs to be stitched and finished into a brick-style stand-up block. So sweet, it's coded for DMC, but those eggs wouldn't mind some metallic touches! Measuring 120 x 51 - this'll finish just 7-1/2 inches long and 3 inches high on 32ct.

  • Jeweled Elephant - This is just like our Jeweled Owl! Quite the elegant little guy, he is stitched with DMC, and garnished all over the place with glass beads. He measures 112 x 93 - so about 6 x 8 on 14/28ct. (You need that size of the fabric to fit the beads.)
