Announcing Silver Needle & Jeannette Douglas' Next European River Cruise! Join us for Scenes Along the Seine - May 21st to June 3rd, 2026
Once again, SN and JDD are chartering an entire Ama Waterways River Cruise Ship - The Ama Dante - for a memorable private trip in France! Our optional Pre-Cruise days offer Paris, France May 21, 22 and 23... then the cruise on the Seine for 7 days, finishing with more optional days back in Paris and the charming surrounding villages, May 30th to June 3rd. We've been doing these cruises for over 10 years now... and just love our tours, stitching projects, and the friends we've made along the way Most of us are stitchers, but you don't have to be. You can come alone (Judy rocks at arranging good room-mate matches)... or come with your spouse (we usually have about 20 gentlemen along), relatives (we get moms, sisters, cousins... you name it) or your favorite traveling friends. Between the shore excursions, we'll enjoy a little stitching with SN and Jeannette on the ship.
Our trip highlights include some things I am familiar with, and some I am not. Some time in Paris; we're taking a cider and cheese tasting excursion, we're going to Claude Monet's gardens, there is a castle in here somewhere, a walking tour around Notre Dame, something about 'tastes of Normandy - chocolate and cheeses.' La Harve and the Bayou Tapestry, The Beaches of Normandy, and those extra days in St Malo - which sound heavenly. We have our favorite Ama Cruise Director - DeJan - who has guided us for every one of our trips. Our trips are safe, so lovely, and really a nice treat to yourself. Our Trip lady, Judy Bradford, has all the details about itinerary and specific pricing. Call her: 866-559-4449, or e-mail: jbradford@expediacruises.com. We hope you can join us!
