Springtime Bees and Summer Flowers Patriotic Bouquet - A pretty little piece, this measures 86 x 107 WITH the corner medallions, 68 x 80 without. Coded for DMC - there are 32 shades and another 9 shades of various hand-dyed flosses. A lot going on in this little space! The chart graphics are nice and big, $15.00 The Beehive Sampler - Soft creamy honey yellows and lavenders, this measures 220 x 104. Coded for DMC but also calling for 8 hand-dyeds with no conversions. It's not very big at all... just very charming! 12 x 6 on 36ct. Chart runs $14.00 The Voice of the Garden - This one is lovely. It needs a super honey-colored or creamy background - to help with the softness of the colors. 'The hum of the bees, is the voice of the garden.' I think just the bee and flower would be pretty alone as well. Measures 132 x 208 - so finishes approx 6-1/2 x 10 on 40ct! Chart $16.00. The Spring Begins - More pretty soft colors... 'Blossom by blossom, the spring begins.' Measures 139 x 167 - so a generous 12 x 14 on 36ct. Coded for DMC along with a few hand-dyeds. Needs a creamy background. Sweet Spring - Just charming! Pinks, honey and mossy greens, this measures only 147 x 132 but is chocked full of DMC shades and hand-dyeds! Finishes 8 x 7-1/2. We have the stitched model in the shop - and it's darling! Something New for Autumn and Thanksgiving from Samplers and Primitives A new company for us to carry, these 4 designs - available as charts - will be arriving in the shop the last days of August. The Autumn Quakers - Choose a white or creme for these, pretty acorn shadings with a hint of Quaker borders tossed in! Smaller one is close to 4 x 4, larger is closer to 6 x 6. The Autumn Alphabet - Companions the cushions, right at about the same size... same motifs, colors... all three of these would be pretty together in a woven basket with acorns and dried leaves! 1869 Thanksgiving Pin Cushion - Celebrating the year the US made Thanksgiving a National Holiday! Love the little shade pumpkins and vine... I might re-arrange those numerals on the date a little - but that's a personal thing. Tuck this in with the Autumn Quaker and Alphabet pillows.
Quaker Bee II, Home and A Celebration of Spring Three new releases by Samplers and Primitives - we love her gentle color shadings. We have gorgeous acorn designs from last Fall, and here are a few Spring pieces. The Quaker Bee II - Pretty golds and greens... pretty touch of Quaker on the edge, everything about it is pleasing to the eye, and it measures 95 - so could finish 4 x 4 if you did it over one on 25 Lugana! Home - Peaceful house, spring-green lawn, I like that huge floral urn peeking behind the house! Measures 136 x 145 - stitched with a medley of hand-dyeds. A Collaboration of Spring - Looks like the same little house - but different landscape! The topper border is really cool because it's different from the other three sides... it's just a little bigger than the HOME piece at 208 x 120.
