Scary Stuff by Lola Crow! Here are three involved pieces - all presented in a single, full color leaflet format. Originally introduced as stitch-alongs in recent years, these three are all now available as single leaflet pieces. They are 'Enchanting With an Odd Twist!' Museum After Midnight - Just like the movies! This is the scary natural history museum that covers 635 million years of complex life on Earth! Super colorful and just the coolest piece... that double pic shows you her glossary of what you are stitching and fun info about each animal. I can pronounce about half of it! Coded for DMC, Museum finishes about 11-1/2 x 12 on 16/32ct. Greenhouse of Oddities - This one finishes about 10 x 13-1/2 on 16/32ct. All sorts of strange plants in here... one of them is a contender for the world's most dangerous plant - because its ripe seeds explode and shoot out 300 feet at 160 miles per hour! You'll love stitching all the weird things in here... and it uses almost 4 complete skeins of black! I opened the leaflet and took a pic of this index too... the information is fascinating! The Deadly Aquarium - Ok... don't scuba dive in here! Everything in this one will kill you! Just the coolest... I couldn't stop reading it to do this description! Coded for DMC, this measures about 10-1/2 x 14-1/4 on 16/32ct. Again, I opened the book to show the index... which is just as much fun to read as the stitch! Pumpkin Party - These little creature are the cutest things - we've caught them having their pumpkin party! The tiny mouse peeking form Jack's mouth is only 4 stitches high! Stitch count of 101 x 95, this is coded for DMC. The Ghostly Ball - Everybody's dead, but they came to the party anyway! Great colors - coded for DMC - this measures 172 x 122. Get some metallic to stitch into the candle flames and light bulbs, I think that'd be fun. The Haunted Library - Everything from those scary books is lurking around the library... this one measures 174 x 161 - and is coded for DMC. It'll finish about 10 x 11 on 16/32ct.
Colorfully Scary Stuff Coming from Lola Crow! Cottage of the Autumn Witch - Actually quite a charming little blue cottage... the only thing scary about it is that the windows are dark and not lit! Measuring 134 x 101, it's worked in 28different shades of DMC. Cute little critters all over, I love the roof and the door and all the pumpkin landscaping! Presented as a leaflet it runs $13.00. A Scroll Down Spooky Lane - Another collection of cute and colorful houses, this is delightful! We have the Funeral Parlor and Haunted Library... with grave stones out on the front sidewalks. We have floating ghosts... a wolf on a roof howling at the moon... and even a witch flying around. Measuring 198 x 64, it is stitched with 24 shades of DMC. Frame the entire piece or make it into a drum shape - shown on the cover. I Like that finishing treatment, because you see something different from every angle. Leaflet runs $12.00. I Am Winter - Wow, grab your black or gunmetal colored fabric and 8 shades of DMC in beiges and blue... this little guy measures 112 x 104 and is striking! If you leave off all the' stardust', he'll be a� lot smaller, might make a cool pin cushion! Half-sized chart, he runs $10.00 A Very Bigfoot Christmas - Well, here you go, Bigfoot Lovers! Your 'fave' watching TV with his dog... is he shoveling with a reindeer(?), and trimming trees with owl friends. He doesn't look frightening at all! Each ornament design measures 52 x 52 and these are shown on 14ct black. They use a whopping 22 different DMC colors! Chart includes all three designs.
Painted Pumpkins from Lola Crow We love this design! Nine perfect little pumpkins - all the same size, they are all patterned differently - but use the same 5 DMC colors. You could go nuts with this one! Add metallics, re-arrange them into a long row for a windowsill cushion, or make a drum, do individual pin cushions, lots of great options. Very cute design, each pumpkin measures only 30 x 30! Full color chart in leaflet format. $9.00
Colorful Designs from Lola Crow Murder in the Pumpkin Patch - The Murder of Crows is decending on the patch of pumpkins... but neither the skeleton or the scarecrow are keeping them away. This colorful country scene by Lola Crow Designs is worked with 25 shades of DMC floss on 32ct Mirage Linen by Picture This Plus. That gorgeous blue-gray dramatic background sets off the bright oranges and cheerful denim of that ragged little shirt. A fun piece 144 x 104 in stitch count, to stitch and display for the season! Buried in Books - Well, everyone knows someone who always has their nose buried in a book - isn't this the cutest thing? Measuring just 64 x 53, it's done on a mangy gray background with 18 different shades of DMC. I love that little cat too. Chart is $7.50. Extraordinary Birds - This has apparently been a stitch along piece that is being finished and offered complete to us. Chart format, it uses 34 DMC shades and measures 181 x 226 in stitch count. I love all the colors in here, and the booklet does come with an illustrated index to identify each bird in the piece! The Racoon and skunk are stitching, but the opposum, crows and squirrels are already done, and displaying their stitched pieces that are mounted in hoops! See them hanging from the tree branches?
