Festive Designs by Quaint Rose Needlearts!
We just love Macey's designs because of the two-fabric idea, and her big, bold subject motifs.
- Reindeer Tree Farm - All the reindeer are out in the tree lot offering their favorite trees and wreaths. The lot lights are on (you could do those in metallic gold or colors), and the snow is falling (you could do that in opalescent!). Stitched on a beige and a second piece of mangy green, this is done with Weeks and Classic hand-dyed flosses and finishes about 7-1/2 x 7. You stitch the two pieces individually, then join them and add the bigger 'X' stitches to make it look hand-done (which is really IS!). Don't miss the tiny ornament trimming the top by the bow. Chart runs $13.00.
- Vixen Mint Co - Wow... what an eyecatching design! I love both halves of it. OK... do the whole thing, or just the deer, or just the barn... everything about this is contemporary, fun and artsy! Stitched with Weeks hand-dyed flosses, with a DMC conversion, it measures 139 x 222 - so 8 x 12 on 18/36ct, or less than that if you split it up. Chart runs $17.50
- Jolly Ole Fellow - Just the CUTEST! We love love the garland, the fireplace is old fashioned and definitely ready for Santa. Santa himself is radiant! He's plump, his beard has lots of curls and 'fluff' on it, and he has cookie and cocoa in hand! Measuring 115 x 147, he'll finish about 6-1/2 x 8 on 18/36. That beard features Rainbow Gallery's Wisper in White and Ecru - so do you have a Nap Raiser Brush to fluff that thread when you're finished? We have the chart, Wisper (W88 and W89 - $3.25 each) and the brushes!
- Retro Christmas - Mixed Media - This companions Stitching Paraphenalia! You work on the gorgeous green background fabric, but the rest is done on 18ct white perforated paper and attached on there! Did you know you can color the paper with a Sharpie, or spray it with coffee or tea to color or stain it? Anyway, words of the season are interrupted by the cutest tiny motifs of the house-in-the-globe, gingerbread men and cups of cocoa. She's used some hand-dyed cottons in here, a little Simply Wool and some Mill Hill beads! Chart runs $14.00... and we have the 18ct paper!

Seasonal Angels from Cuore e Batticuore
We've had these little angels off and on, but today, the Autumn set came, and I finally organized them together! Absolutely the cutest little boy and girl angels measuring about 80 x 80 stitches each, they finish 4-1/2 inches each. Each set of 6 presents angels with different hair, wings, outfits and something they are carrying. Individually, I think they'd make great tooth fairy pillows, or cute bedroom door signs.
If you did them on 10ct - they'd be 8 to 9 inches in size, and finish into cute bed pillows. Beach Angels have fish, sail boats and sand pails. Christmas Angels have stars. Autumn all have plants - acorns, pears, mushrooms, and apples. The Spring set features bright colors and flowers |

Winter at the Home of a Needleworker by Little House Needleworks
Diane's latest chart... this finishes about 5-1/2 x 8 on 32ct. It's coded for Classic Colorworks hand-dyed flosses, with DMC alternatives.
Think about putting a family name in there rather than the needleworker part... even dump the words all together, stitch two more cardinals and that pretty greenery down there. This has pretty design elements. |

Christmas Arrivals from Hands On Design!
- All is Bright - LOVE these colors! Grab an aqua fabric - this is Juniper by Stephanie... Picture This Plus's Tidal is great too. Measures 79 x 80, stitched with Weeks hand-dyed the design offers three different sentiments - Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas and Feliz Navidad.
- Christmas Folk - Cathy describes this with Poinsettias, Putz houses (I don't know what those are!), pears and a partridge. Classic holiday motifs with a touch of folk inspired design. It measures 53 x 190, finishing about 3 x 11. Stitched with DMC floss, it's the same design style as the Seasonal Folk Samplers Cathy has done.
- Home for the Holidays - Truly a simple design that lets it's finishing fabric dress it up! Just 6 colors of DMC in this, we think it finishes about 4 inches square.
|

New from Blueberry Ridge
- The Postmouse's Christmas Delivery - Oh my gosh, this is the CUTEST! Look at this darling mouse pulling a striped sled full of precious packages! He's carrying his skinny sprig of holly and greenery for a festive touch - even though he's trudging through a blizzard of quilted snowflakes! Stitched on 36ct, he measures just 4-1/2 x 5-1/2 and is stitched with a medley of hand-dyeds from Weeks, Gentle Art and Classic. This is finished as a Christmas Card Sack, but he'd be cute as a open-topped box, or even a little doorstop!
- The Potting Bench #2 - Emily has already done one set of these charming flower pots that are full of stylized, modern florals. This is Potting Bench Collection #2. Super fresh, pretty colors, each pot is only 3 x 3, so absolutely charming! Chart includes all three pot designs.
|

Christmassy Desgins from Wildflower Stitching
- Winter's Song - A pretty piece full of cool wintery color. Measuring 148 x 128 , it finishes approx 9 x 8 on a gorgeous blue/gray hand-dyed fabric and is stitched with a medley of hand-dyeds. You know... you could do just the bird and holly or just the barn, trees and verse! Presented as a large chart it runs $13.00
- Mid-Century Greetings - A salute to Nana's Shiny Brite glass ornaments... Peace, Love and Joy are still good greetings even 75 years after 'mid century!' Pretty colors of DMC and hand-dyeds, this finishes about 9-1/2 x 7 on 32ct. The large chart runs $14.00
- Merry and Bright Baubles - Two more in Maria's set of monochromatic rounds... these are the same size as the rest, and remember, you can stitch any of these in ANY colors you want! Single charts, they are super large and easy to follow, so really a very easy stitch!

Cardinal Moon, our November 2025 Secret Needle Night Kit
Our November's Secret Needle Night design is ready - we've got COLD January on our mind - and bare trees.
Just like our Halloween Moon, this measures about 5 inches in size, and will stitch in a jiff. We used #5 Pearl cottons and Very Velvet - so easy to stitch with.
Mona finished ours on a little hanging paddle. Her finishing kit (available separately) includes that painted wood, the mounting boards, trim and ribbon bow. Our kit includes the chart, 20ct linen, needle and threads. Happy Wintery Stitching! |

Announcing Just Nan's 2025 Ornament - Tiny Ginger Boy Cube
Nan is releasing her 1-1/2 inch cube this week! Stitched on 32ct Raw Belfast Linen with DMC floss and a touch of gold metallic, each side of the cube features a tiny gingerbread man. Holly with berries borders the sides, and there are tiny poinsettias and lacy white snowflake bands all around.
The chart includes gold beads, the enameled gingerbread boy charm, 8 pearl-white pins you see on the corners. You'll need only a 9 x 9 of fabric, and a bit of interfacing and stuffing for finishing. |

Val's Been Designing for Thanksgiving!
- My, Oh My! It's Pumpkin Pie - Looks like this kitty is ready to steal the desert! Stitched on any white background with a blend of hand-dyeds and DMC, this finishes about 4 x 6. Val included her recipe for pumpkin pie inside the chart - she likes less sugar and spices and added cream cheese! Also, as a bonus, she's put a pic of her 3rd design on the back cover of this... 'Punkin and Pie' and I really think you can stitch right from her picture! Chart includes the Just Another Button Company clay pumpkin button - which is also charted in case you do another without the button. $14.00
- Gobble 'til You Wobble - But some of us already wobble! Cute little frazzled turkey, he measures only 3 x 4. Stitched with DMC, he'd be fun done on perf paper, then backed with felt and stuck on a stick and possible poked into a pumpkin on your Fall table. Presented as a small chart $8.00
|

Snow Ho-Ho from X's & Oh's
When we saw this design, we just loved it, regardless of all the stitching it requires! Finishing a huge 11 x 17 on 32ct, find a deep blue blue background for all the whites, reds and greens to pop on. She's added opalescent metallic and beads to the snowflakes, and flake buttons as well. (Mill Hill makes fabulous metal snowflake treasures #15001)
The branches are never-ending and full of quarter stitches... but wait till you get to the snow... and the snowmen! You need to be a prolific stitcher to get this one done! The over pic on the leaflet is actually nice enough to cut out and frame! |

Acrylic Thread Boards from Rosewood Manor
Karen Kluba has sent some 2-1/2 and 3 x 5 plastic thread holders - featuring her stitched artwork. You'll recognize the Celebrations design, and her Merry, Merry.
Neither one has her name or logo on it, not even the design name... so they are totally generic, but absolutely lovely!
Get one for your 250th Anniversary stitching this year and the other one to tuck into a stitcher's Christmas stocking! |
Rainbow Scissors
These are pretty things! 3-1/2 Inch embroidery and stork styles, they're nice.
The 'baked on?' finish on them is a rainbow color - the light hits them and they just glisten with purples, blues, greens, golds and pink.
Not DOVO quality but for $7 and $9, they're great! |

Ornamented Christmas Houses from Twin Peak Primitives
This is a quiet village street ready for Santa. He's up there, too, just arriving! By Twin Peak, this design uses only 9 shades of DMC floss to stitch the three ornate houses that are just oozing with gingerbread charm.
The cover pic is rather dark - the blues are 926 and 931, the red is 304 - MUCH brighter than in the pic, and the deer and brown on the house is 435. Measuring about 16 x 7 on 14/28ct... you can finish this as a drum with that cute carousel top, or simply frame or pillow it.
Balanced and organized, they've done a good job with the charts by giving you a one-page image of the whole design that spreads over three pages in the chart format. Leaflet with both the black and white chart and the color rendition. |

Christmas Releases by Teresa Kogut
- Up on the Housetop - Santa and his little reindeer are doing a dance before the big jump down the chimney! Measuring 90 x 109, this finishes 4-1/2 x 5-1/2 on 40ct Country Vintage Mocha. Coded for DMC, it's a single chart and runs $14.

- Santa Wreath Ornament - Here's a classic TK design! Presented in a single 6 x 9 chart, it's coded for DMC and measures 79 stitches wide. Cute as can be... I'd finish the board in red so it shows up on the tree! Chart runs $10.00
- Frosty Garland Ornament - Well, three actually! Each little guy measures 30 x 45, and is stitched on perforated paper. Did you know you can color paper with a SHARPIE? Color that black hat area, and your thread will appear to cover MUCH better... you'll get a solid black hat. If you choose the 18ct paper, these little guys will be less than 2 inches in size!Chart for all three runs $10.00
- Frosty Bulb - Isn't this cute? DMC floss on a gray background, this would be pretty with opalescents tossed in. It measures just 65 x 70m, chart runs $10.00
- A Time to Rest - The final season in Teresa's Every Season Series... we've planted and sowed and reaped, not it's time to play a little. Coded for DMC, it finishes about 5 x 8 on 40ct.

- E is for Evergreen - Love this one! Beth has another alphabet letter - this is #12 in her occasional set - it measures 90 x 90 in stitch count. Coded for a medley of hand-dyeds, I love the lines of the fronds, presented as a single chart for $12.00

|

Sweets of the Vine Pinkeep from Scattered Seed Samplers
A hungry bird gathering berries, he finishes kind of large. Measuring 115 x 57, so about 7-1/2 x 4-1/2 on 36ct Country Vintage Mocha Linen, he's stitched with regular DMC thread!
Stitch and finish this as a larger cushion to kind of nestle in the bottom of your bowl filled with smalls; it's large enough not to get lost down there! Chart $12.00.
|

Some fun 'Creeps' from Rebel Stitcher
- Jeepers Creepers - This is cute! I think it'd be fun on a gunmetal colored fabric, so those dancing skeletons would show up more. Just 5 shades of thread, it measures 143 x 77, so will finish about 8 x 4 on 18/36ct. Presented as a nice full sized chart - $15.00
- Yikes - Another fun one, this little kitty is 143 x 138 in size, so about 8 x 8 on 18/36ct. Stitched on a dramatic orange background, almost all of this is black, and it'd be tempting to stitch the cat outline and then just fill him in! Black metallic would be stunning on the stars, a little wool thread on that tail?
- Spooky Smalls - There are seven designs in here! Each one is tiny, super easy to do, and the entire set is stitched with the same color palette of Gentle Art hand-dyes. Black Licorice, Orange Marmalade, Grape Leaf, Tomato, and Purple Iris. Foggy Night (bottom left) has purple clouds hiding the golden moon - it looks promising!

Just like an enticing party tray! Measures 88 x 106 - so it finishes just 4-1/2 x 6 on 36ct Affogoto linen by Fiber on a Whim. She's used a mixture of Weeks and DMC threads, and distressed her little wooden paddle with a Briwax rub.
- Mini Mummy Moon - Everyone is smiling in this one... the mummy is offering the bat to the bunny... little strange... like the season! Measures only 72 x 81 - so on 36ct it finishes 4-1/2 inches in size. Stitched with a medley of hand-dyeds and DMC, chart runs $10.

Sweater Weather is Coming! With Thy Needle's Brenda Gervais has 5 new designs that all celebrate the upcoming Autumn, Christmas, and Winter seasons!
- Sweater Weather CS365 - This chubby snowman might melt underneath all his warm clothes! Wearing his winter-y sweater, he does have a little candy cane in his hand that you can leave off - less of a 'Christmas' suggestion. He'll be but as a little block stand-up on your windowsill all season long. Chart format, using a medley of hand-dyeds, he measures only 3 x 4 on 36ct.
- Quaker Snippets #2 CS366 - This is the second smaller seasonal Quaker-inspired design in this series. Measuring just 94 x 94 (Like its Autumn counterpart), it features hand-dyeds stitched into cute little wintery snowmen, houses, and even a tiny Christmas Pudding! Chart format, it'll make a cute cushion... but if you wait for 4 or 5 of these to be published, you COULD make all of them into one standing cube!
- Winter Trio CS367 - The last of these trio patterns... three more 75 stitch count pieces... now you have 12 spanning the year. Stitch them all, finish with different coordinating Chenille trims and throw them all in a bowl! Chart format, a mixture of hand-dyeds... all of these have been really cute.
- Bells Are Ringing CS368 - This Christmas Time! A very stately house amidst the most festive candy cane garden! Each window of the house is decorated, the floral urn outside is full of candy canes, and the red cardinal is bringing even more decor! Measures 168 x 108, uses a medley of hand-dyeds, and features regular cross stitch, along with some Long, Smyrna, and over-one stitching.
- Snowmen in the Forecast CS369 - Frosty blue and white quilted snowflakes in the sky, a cozy little cabin in the piney woods... this chart includes all three designs pictured. Just cute and quick, as always a medley of hand-dyeds to stitch these cute little pics. The font used reminds me of Brenda's SnowBall Leaflet designs.

The larger boards are 6 x 9. Varied woods for everything, decorative etchings on the fronts, SN's name and the stands are on the backs. Etchings are varied designs on the fronts... but our favorite is the 'To Stitch is Bliss' with all the tiny stitching motifs in the artwork. The little spool boards are $18.00, the larger run $26.

What a fun thing to whip out at your next late night stitching event... or something to make you smile when you tip-toe to your bathroom in the middle of the night. (Stitchers always have stitching on their minds) Regular little bulb, on/off switch, the little hoop part measures about 3 inches in diameter. There is a cute colorful design full of stitching stuff, and the wooden heart area covers the center of the bulb, so there is no bright glare of a bare bulb. - Beautiful Things Tray Something to keep your space organized, these little trays measure just 10 inches across, 5 inches high and are 1/2 an inch thick. (They are sold separately from the tray.) Perfect for travel-stitchng, and holding a few threaders, trinkets and candy! Super fun and functional - $34.00.

Snow Buddies from Little House Needleworks
Diane has a new chart of a trio of snowy-blue sledding snowmen. Designed to fit the Foxwood Crossings Mini Sleds, use 14ct perf paper or Aida, or a 28ct linen or Lugana. She's charted these for DMC floss - just wisps of designs - they measure just 17 x 31 each.
You might want to include a small cut of a bright fabric behind your stitching for a little color, or paint your sleds so they show up on the Christmas tree. Sleds sold separately by Foxwood Crossings. |

A Spooky Night by The Tiny Modernist
Stitch this cute holiday medley of designs - it's small at only 127 x 178 - so it's only 8 x 11 on 16/32ct. Cheryl stitched hers on Cobblestone Lugana - which isn't made anymore (!) so she suggests Sage/Summer Khaki.
Charted for only 8 colors of DMC or hand-dyeds, I think a whole little bowl of assorted-sized individual pun cushions of all of these would be cute! Full color chart $16.00 |
Once again, SN and JDD are chartering an entire Ama Waterways River Cruise Ship - The Ama Dante - for a memorable private trip in France! Our optional Pre-Cruise days offer Paris, France May 21, 22 and 23... then the cruise on the Seine for 7 days, finishing with more optional days back in Paris and the charming surrounding villages, May 30th to June 3rd. We've been doing these cruises for over 10 years now... and just love our tours, stitching projects, and the friends we've made along the way Most of us are stitchers, but you don't have to be. You can come alone (Judy rocks at arranging good room-mate matches)... or come with your spouse (we usually have about 20 gentlemen along), relatives (we get moms, sisters, cousins... you name it) or your favorite traveling friends. Between the shore excursions, we'll enjoy a little stitching with SN and Jeannette on the ship.
Our trip highlights include some things I am familiar with, and some I am not. Some time in Paris; we're taking a cider and cheese tasting excursion, we're going to Claude Monet's gardens, there is a castle in here somewhere, a walking tour around Notre Dame, something about 'tastes of Normandy - chocolate and cheeses.' La Harve and the Bayou Tapestry, The Beaches of Normandy, and those extra days in St Malo - which sound heavenly. We have our favorite Ama Cruise Director - DeJan - who has guided us for every one of our trips. Our trips are safe, so lovely, and really a nice treat to yourself. Our Trip lady, Judy Bradford, has all the details about itinerary and specific pricing. Call her: 866-559-4449, or e-mail: jbradford@expediacruises.com. We hope you can join us!

Gorgeous Offerings from Rosewood Manor
- Merry Merry Christmas - We've seen this stitched already - in real live person! A row of brightly colored stylized trees against a medium blue hand-dyed background, Karen has designed this with DMC floss and Rainbow Gallery's Entice thread. Really bright and fun shades, this is full of sparkle and personality. he Entice is a metallic/rayon blend that adds that sparkle. The chart calls for multiple cards of some of the colors (9 in total.) Measuring 315 x 135, it will finish approx 20 x 8-1/2 on 32ct. The booklet also includes multiple smaller motifs and trees that are shown on the back cover in a digital sampler, so there are a lot of project possibilities with this pattern.
- Nature - This is a gorgeous garden on wildflowers and possibly weeds. Stunning in person, the entire piece is done with just Weeks Dye Works hand-dyed flosses of Light Khaki, Fawn, Peach Fuzz, London Fog and Flatfish. You guessed it - multiple skeins of each. Lots of fun stitches in here - Triple Leviathan, Diamond Smyrna Stars, Four Sided, Algerian Eyelet, along with a lot of variations on some of these give it so much texture. The fabric will be a challenge. It is graduated top to bottom - light to dark - blue in hue. The dyer was not able to re-create the exact colors in Karen's piece, so you might want to start practicing specialty fabric dying on pillowcases or a big bed sheet (to give yourself lots of opportunity to learn!). I think this would be pretty on a lot of darker hand-dyed - to make the creamy colors pop.

Each pair comes as a complete kit of 14ct perforated paper, DMC floss and a smattering of Mill Hill seed beads. Measuring about 4 inches in size each, they'll make cute magnets... or swap out the paper for fabric and make little cushions... or maybe make them all and overlap them into a framed medley of luscious color! |

Cross Stitch Wonders has 6 real cute ornament designs to stitch. Presented as single full color charts, the 4 jingle bell designs are all about the same size - 44 x 70-ish.
The little clock measures 41 x 77, and the Oktoberfest Nutcracker is 38 x 67. They remind me of our travels to the Christmas Markets in Europe! Coded for DMC, put them on perforated paper for a cute and quick finish. |

These are just cute and colorful. The set of 10 might be fun broken up into individual drops - fill them with a bit of thread, and use them for tree ornaments!
Each measures 1-1/2 x 2 inches, and since they are clear, you see the pretty design on both sides of the drop. No front or back! |

Painted Pumpkins from Lola Crow
We love this design! Nine perfect little pumpkins - all the same size, they are all patterned differently - but use the same 5 DMC colors.
You could go nuts with this one! Add metallics, re-arrange them into a long row for a windowsill cushion, or make a drum, do individual pin cushions, lots of great options. Very cute design, each pumpkin measures only 30 x 30! Full color chart in leaflet format. $9.00 |

Miss Pilkingon's Cottage from Plum Street Samplers
Plum Street has a new chart with a red, white and blue festive personality. Miss Pilkington's Cottage has the right colors and features a really cool roof made from quilt block patterns.
Measuring 116 x 98, it's small at 6-1/2 x 5-1/s, and is stitched with a medley of hand-dyed flosses. |
Bloom Wildly from Little Dove Designs
This is an unusual design that caught my eye. Measuring 139 stitches square, it'll finish about 10 inches square on 14/28ct.
Coded for 13 shades of DMC, I think you could stitch the border, and then add just a big initial in the center - it would make a charming pillow for a little girl's bed! |

Cute New Offerings by Love Poppet
- Skating Santa - Isn't he the happiest thing? Stitched on pale blue or gray fabric, choose something that will make the snowflakes pop out a little. 20 Haunted Windows Pentagon Ball... Limited Edition from Just Nan
Once again, Nan has really outdone herself! Nan's 20 Haunted Windows Pentagon Ball is a counted thread artwork ball inspired by an antique. Every turn of the ball reveals a pentagon shape. Twenty triangular haunted windows outlined in gothic black form the ball. The windows feature 4 Jacks, 4 Ghosts, 4 Spiders, 4 Skells plus a Black Cat, Witch, Mummy and Monster.
The 20 windows are stitched on 5 pieces of 32 CT Weeks Peoria Purple linen using DMC floss. There are 4 window graphs for each piece of linen. The windows are accented with sparkling beads and a striped pumpkin bead in each corner. Complete assembly instructions and photos are included. (Stitching on 5 pieces is easier than stitching all 20 triangles on one piece of linen.)
When assembled, each center point of a pentagon is highlighted with an embossed orange sequin and black bead. There are 12 centers. For a final touch, Nan provided a satin ghost and satin bat embellishment to pin in place wherever it suits you. This is sure to be a treasured heirloom. |

- Dolce Vita - Oh the Deserts! Here is everything we are not supposed to eat! 16 tiny deserts and treats, stitch them as the whole medley, or select just your favorites and stitch those. Coded for DMC, each confection measures about 30 to 50 stitches. You could make individual stand-ups, you could stitch a couple on perforated paper for Christmas Tree ornaments. They aren't identified as to what they are... but I do recognize that donut with sprinkles!
- Puppies - Aren't these little guys cute? Each puppy - all four are included in the chart - is only 66 stitches in size, and worked in just DMC 3799. Stitched them individually or together - they companion Artmiska's kittens.
- Quilt Sampler - This is a pretty piece - using just 9 colors of DMC floss. Measuring 210 x 210, each block is only 40 x 40, and they'd make a spectcular filled bowl of cushions if you did them individually. Lovely colors the way it is, but easy to change if you want.
- Christmas Baubles - All three designs are included in this chart - each is done with a single hand-dyed color on really any fabric you want as well. They measure 72 x 87... but you could make them smaller by leaving off the bows. Sweet and restful little scenes.

Blue Velvet, Love and Grow from Jan Hicks Creates
- Blue Velvet - Reminiscent of her lace designs this is an elegant medley of borders and meandering medallions. Jan mentions old wallpaper as inspiration for this. While she shows this is blue colors, you could change that to any color you'd like better - the pattern calls for either DMC or hand-dyeds of Wavy navy, Blueberry Tart, Blue Jay and Wrought Iron. Just really fun, it measures 222 x 172, and actually has several 'sections' to my eye, so if you can't get the entire thing done... find your favorite motifs in here and just do those!
- Four Letter Words: Love and Grow - A pair of designs celebrating GOOD four letter words, Give and Hope will round out this set of 4 designs later in the year. Measuring 102 x 101, and all using the same colors, they will finish approx 5 inches in size on 40ct.

Four colorful projects are here from Curly Girls... always full of great advice for a happy life, these 4 are charming. Complete kits worked on 28ct linen (so the smatterings of bead embellishments fit), they include the chart, beads, threads and needles.
'Beginning' tells you to remember that the beginning can start anywhere along the way.
'Perfect Friend' talks about your precious dog not living all the days of YOUR life...
'Airmail' is full of Love Stamps, and
'Give Us Our Shine' shows a little cracked bowl, but it says that sometimes it's what we survive that gives us our shine! |

A Few Offerings from Hobby House Press
- Nordic Santa - What a fun little Santa - he's standing among his trees, trying to fit in! He's shown on 40ct Hogbristle and worked with a medley of hand-dyed flosses. He measures 192 x 107 - so a whopping 9-1/2 x 5-1/2. Chart runs $12.00
- Nordic Deer - Very stream-lined reindeer, same fabric and size as Nordic Santa. It'd be kind of fun to finish these as a triangle stand-up - and put Santa on one side, the deer on the other. Chart runs $12.
- Happy Halloween - This one is very simple. Just a black hand-dyed of your choice, whatever fabric you want, include the reference to the 1692 Witch Trials or not! Chart includes both designs - witch measures 129 x 79 (6-1/2 x 4 on 40ct), and Greeting measures 220 x 28 - 11 x 2!.

Song of the Forest from The Needle's Notion
Here's a fun 'wreath' design - to hang on a door. It's a woodland scene of a forest tree, complete with squirrels. A cottage back there, some deer, even little fish in the stream. The stitching isn't too involved, so this looks bigger than it actually is. Measuring 176 across, it'll be 10 inches on 18/36.
Choose larger fabric and make a larger wreath. The fabric is simply cut out, and button-hole stitched onto a felt backing! No sewing, a flat finish... actually really charming! Presented as a chart it is coded for DMC floss with a few hand-dyeds tossed in. (Note: There are a few other designs from The Needle's Notion on our Christmas Seasonal page.) |

M'Lady Scissor Fob from Fern Ridge
Pat and Peggy have a new scissor fob that features opaque beads making a ladybug on her leaf. Peyote beading... the complete kit includes the instructions, beads, thread, needles and findings.
Normally Fern Ridge does glitz and sparkle. This fob is different because the beads all have a matte finish. (There's a little shine on the green beads.) The fringe and topper both feature a glass ladybug bead, and the red balls on the fringe match. Cute and quick. |

The Flossabilities House Collection
OHHH... I'm kind of thinking any of these would be fun to live in... especially that 'Shack' on the shore!
Four enchanting abodes... choose the ones you like best. All are presented with full color cover pic, and black and white chart inside, and coded for DMC.
Leaflet pics are very true to help you choose fabric colors. The Cabin, Chalet and Shack are all basically the same size about 100 x 200. The Trick or Treat Town is a little larger at 130 x 225. |

The Nine-Patch Mini Pillows from Flossabilities
This is a nice grouping of coordinating designs - we've got the 4 seasons as well as Halloween, Christmas, and the Sea covered! All presented on 6 x 9 card stock with charts printed in black, each has a beautiful color pic on the cover, and is worked on varied colors of fabric.
Each 73 x 73 design is worked with ONE color of hand-dyed floss - again suggestions in the charts - but you can decide what you like best! 14 count makes them 5 inches, 40 over two makes them 3-1/2 inches. |

Pretty Bands and Florals from Samplers and Primitives
- Noel Band Sampler - I see two parts to this piece - that little skinny sampler on the left, and the elegant borders and urn on the right. Stitched on a cream background, threads are a medley of hand-dyeds, it measures 180 x 150. Chart runs $16.00
- Noel Ornament Sampler - Another cute little house nestled in between evergreens, the reds and greens really bring out the design details on the Quaker medallions. Recommended fabric is a neutral or vintage color, 141 x 180, I don't think this one uses hand-dyeds - I think it's DMC! Chart runs $16.00
- Rich Autumn Harvest - Wow, talk about a pop of pumpkin color! Measuring 126 x 100, you're probably down to 90 x 90 without the borders - this is just stunning! Calls for DMC and Gentle Art hand-dyeds, chart runs 16.00
- Floral Band Sampler - Here's another pretty option of bands and that beautiful floral near the bottom. It would be pretty just by itself, finished into a small pin cushion. The chart says it is not suitable for white fabric - I think there are lots of design details we cannot see on here because the picture is too light. Measures a generous 154 x 266 - so 8-1/2 x 15 on 36ct - again, a nedley of DMC along with hand-dyeds. Chart runs $18.00

 From Cottage Garden Samplings!
- The Crow - Cottage Garden Samplings is in a Halloween mood! Perched on a woodland branch, this striking crow gazes out under the glow of a golden full moon, a dramatic and mysterious addition to the Year In The Woods II series. - Midnight Drift - A special Halloween design for 2025! A witch takes flight on her broom, carrying her black cat as they drift past a glowing crescent moon. That skinny cat is hitchhiking a midnight ride! Stitched on Picture This Plus's Nocturne hand-dyed fabric, the crescent moon is definitely the show-stopper on this one!
Measuring 129 x 131 - all of this is done with regular DMC floss! You can see color variation in the moon, but those are actually rows of different colors of that DMC! Chart runs $10.00

Everything is presented in full-sized, full color charts on heavy card-stock paper. Very pretty and easy to work from.
- Blooming Skies - Just makes you smile. Measuring 119 x 150, it finishes about 6-1/2 x 8-1/2 on 36ct. Coded for Weeks Dye Works hand-dyed flosses or DMC, it's such a bright, stylized summer-time piece. The corner borders are a neat touch, as they are all different. Leaflet runs $12.00
- Colors of Fall - Glorious, Magnificent and Splendid - are the colors of Fall! Measuring 112 stitches square, this finishes about 6 inches on 18/36ct - quite petite actually. DMC colors are luscious and bright... I'm not sure I'd have pictured the hot pinks for Fall, but now I have to pay attention. I bet there are a lot of Fall-blooming things in those shades, and I've never noticed! Leaflet runs $12.00
- Stitch Lovely and Beautiful Maker - A pair of floral sewing machines! First robin designed the pink Stitch Lovely version; now, she's added a blue colorway - with a slightly different sewing machine shape! Kathy Barrick's Creations - they look fun to stitch!
- Good Night Moon - Kathy chose the darkest blue black fabric she could find to make sure her gold colors stood out against the background. Measuring just 89 x 97, it'll finish about 5 x 5 on 18/36ct, she's stitched the stars in straight stitches for a little texture. You could add metallics or petite beads to this to make it glisten even more! Hard to read, but it does say 'Good Night Moon' in the middle.
- Baltimore Album Quilt - The stitch count of this is 2237 x 257. Worked on 36ct, it finishes about 13 x 14 - pretty generous in size. Coded for silks or DMC, look at all the little individual squares in here. Each measures about 2 inches in size. Do any number of them in any configuration... blocks, smaller patches, individual cushions, long and skinny for a long and skinny wall, or skinny and wide - possibly for over a doorway? There is so much you can do with the pretty piece!

Hello From Liz Matthews - Enjoy her fun releases!
- Secret Garden - What a happy profusion of color! Stitched on a neutral background, Liz chose DMC floss and did those tiny diamonds scattered everywhere with gold metallic!
- Holly Wreath - What a pretty garland of holly surrounding this grand bird! Stitched with Needlepoint silk, just the bird by itself, or simply a pin cushion of that holly would be stunning.
- House on Pumpkin Hill - This is cute - love the leafy border, love the hill full of pumpkins. Liz mentions the cat and witch silhouettes on the sides of the house - which I missed at first - leave them off and add a star or two instead if you don't want 'Halloween.' Those upside-down sunflowers are kind of hinky and fun too! Meauires 101 x 131.
- Ghosting to Town - Little ghosts out for a walk! The town - going up and down the sides makes this really unique. Stitched on something dark and mangy, or light and bright!
- Quaker Star Christmas - This is a cute little piece! Simple stitching in just 4 DMC colors of 935, 918, 3051 and 3011, the stitch count is 140 x 136. The beads along the edge look involved, but are super easy to do and offer a really cool finishing treatment. Hardest thing about this is sewing that star shape!
- Festive Mini Trees - Cute as can be... use this finishing idea for lots of Christmassy designs! Liz has that tutorial on her website. Worked with DMC, these are only 55 x 50 in size - rinky dinky!
- Fa La La - We think this would be nice finished into a pillow rather than framed. We like the balls and the colors - this begs for a colorful chenille trim. Actually, if you did 18ct linen over two - it'd be 15-1/2 x 8-1/2 in size and it'd be really festive on the couch! Classic Colorworks of Cherry Cobbler, Honeycomb, English Ivy, Mossy, Tennessee Red Clay, & Blackbird.
- Santa's Night Tree - This is almost like Liz's 'To All a Goodnight' design from last fall. Basically most of the entire same design, she's put this on a deep sky blue and reversed some of the reindeer to fill the sky - and then finished it into her tree shape. Cute as can be, the tree is just a flat triangle shape - open at the bottom, filled with wadded paper or fiberfill, and stuck on a candlestick or other cute base. The design is super cute - this whole little tree will be about 5 x 7 in size! Smaller than you think! Chart runs $12.00.

Halloween and Christmas Seasonals by Erica Michaels
Linda's designs are 'cute and cushion-y!'

The Twin Peak Sisters have been busy! Presenting Halloween and Christmas Releases we really like!
- Fang and Big Eye Gang is one of my favorites this season! Choose some fun fabric background colors to highlight these whimsical characters... or stitch the backgrounds in colors you like. (The pattern says they are done on Smokey Pearl, but I'm not seeing that same color on the fabric edges. I THINK they have stitched those three colored backgrounds though, rather than used different fabric.) Each measures just 59 x 80 in size. Featuring only 8 shades of DMC floss, the cat, witch and pumpkin head clown are all included in this leaflet. Absolutely LOVE them!
- Christmas Drum Set - This design leaflet includes the 'Good Will to All' village scene with Santa flying overhead, as well as the Santa head 'ice cream cone.' Everything is stitched with DMC on Country Vintage Mocha - which we have it in numerous counts. The flat village scene measures 196 x 101 - so 7 x 14 on 28ct. Mr Santa's head measures only 58 x 58 - so he finishes a petite 2 x 4 inches in size. Can't wait to get our hands on this leaflet and get some shop models stitched!
- Winter Rose Sampler - Stitched on Fibre on a Whim's Affogato Belfast linen with a mixture of DMC and hand-dyeds, it features a snow capped alphabet along the top. Then, two center sections - one a wintery cottage with snow-covered evergreens and bunnies on the lawn, and the lavish Winter Rose flower with reindeer along the bottom. Measures 182 x 189.
- The Day Before Christmas - Here's a charming town scene enjoying the cold weather and freshly fallen snow. Measuring 108 x 144 - so about 8 x 10-1/2 on 28ct - choose something gray and wintery or a brisk light blue for your background. Coded for 19 shades of DMC, they suggest substituting Mill Hill glass seed beads instead of French Knots - I imagine for the falling snow!

Rainy Day and City Lights from Boomerang Stitches
This is a pair of stunning designs by Boomerang Stitches. Due to arrive in the shop the last week of August... I just love them, and couldn't wait to show them off! Presented as individual charts, each measures 121 x 121 in stitch count and is coded for about 20 shades of DMC floss.
These two are worked on an antique white background - you can choose virtually any count you like. So clean, crisp, sophisticated and balanced, I love the symmetry, the geometric lines, and the way the stitches suggest shadows. (Do you remember the artwork of Charlie Harper? Reminds me of his artwork!) |

Land That I Love Biscornu Book from Teresa Kogut
Here's a really cool book that contains 10 different designs (some are shown above) - all the same size at about 80 x 80 in stitch count. Teresa has designed them geometrically - and then assembled them into Biscornu shaped pin cushions.
She uses one general color palette throughout the book, so all of these pieces coordinate... and you can mix and match them to assemble into the cushions.
Just charming, you see the top design, but then bits of the bottom peeking around the edges, and they look even better when two different fabrics are used! Multiple pages, huge color charts, luscious pictures, all these need is you to enjoy! |

Pop of the Ocean, Hook & Bobber, and Whale SongBent Creek
Bent Creek has a trio of summery designs - all super quick to stitch on your trip to the beach. Click on each imaqge to take you right to it on one of our Bent Creek pages.
- POP of the Ocean features swimming fish in their tiny globe. These POP designs were all supposed to be trees, I think, so not sure how fish could be swimming in trees. I think it'd be cute minus the trunk and fence! Kit includes the 20ct linen and #5 Pearl Cotton threads.
- Whale Song and The Hook, Line and Bobber Flag - These two are small charted designs that BEG to be hung in that beach house we all want! The little crab better not go for that hook, otherwise he'll be dinner. But the little whale can just sing and sing away! Both finish about 3 x 4 in size.

Christmas Roses and The Grove Sheep Farm from Mille Fleur
A pair of charming designs... one for Summertime, one for Christmas
- Christmas Roses - Measures 122 x 200, and is done on Natural linen. The chart does call for lots of specialty threads and beads... but I bet your stash can come pretty close to delivering most of what you need. Touches of Hardanger down at the bottom, Satin Stitch candles, beaded and sequin garlands, there is a lot going on in the elegant piece. The chart is large, colorful and easy to read.
- The Grove Sheep Farm - What a sweet little cottage scene. The close-up on the cover shows the sheep detail - they are all done with French knots. (But you can sub beads or Wisper thread instead if you'd rather!) Just a teeny piece at 84 x 84... if you leave off the personalization, it'll be a little bit smaller! Beautiful, large colored chart.

Summer Sailing With Mr Robin from Artful Offerings
Artful Offerings celebrates summertime with her dapper little sea captain on his patriotic sailboat. Robin says it's a clear summer day, he's wearing his finest top-hat, and he's anchoring his whimsical bird-house boat after crossing the festive regatta finish line.
Coded for Gentle Art hand-dyeds or DMC, he is done on Fibre on a Whim's Buttermilk hand-dyed. We think Flax, Lambswool and light blues would be pretty as well. Measures 7 x 7-ish on 36ct. |

Green Summer World and Haunted Hill from Cotton Pixels
A pair of 4 x 4 designs, each is presented in small chart format.
- Green Summer World features a black cat that is stitched in beads! The darker greenery growing is also done with beads, the lighter are simply stitched. Really cute texture because of that contrast. This little kitty goes with several other CP cats!
- Haunted Hill - I'm looking for the cat in this one... but there are only bats! I think you need to grab a small black cat (from a Chessie design or somewhere) and switch out a border bat for a cat. Another fun, quick seasonal design.

I love the framing treatment... she's done a border of fabric and sewn buttons in the corners! Chart runs $12.00 |

Cicada's Song Sampler from Cosford Rise Stitchery
This is a pretty piece! Measuring 228 x 227, it finishes about 12 x 12 on 36ct. That cool stone mill is surrounded by a meandering wildflower border that doesn't repeat anywhere! Can you see the little pond down in the bottom left corner of the border?
The verse reads: Magnolia blooms and cotton fields, where gentle rivers wind, in southern warmth and cicada's song, the heart of home you'll find. Coded for DMC or a medley of hand-dyed flosses... this is super-charming! |

At the Heart of It, Counting Our Blessings, No More Twist, Fox Winks from Teresa Layman
Teresa Layman has a DOZEN new knotwork designs... and they've all arrived in the shop! (Click through to see the other 8.) Teeny, tiny, these are used for doll house rugs or just gorgeous small pieces of needleart - hopefully safely framed! Each pattern comes as the actual-sized line drawing printed on a special knotwork fabric and your needle.
You'll need a tight hoop and DMC floss. Every single stitch in these is a single wrap French Knot with one strand of floss... just like paint by' number... you fill in the areas with the knots. Absolutely exquisite! Click the pics to see the other 8 new designs... along with so many other cute ones! |

Talk Dirt to Me from Val's Stuff
Val's Stuff has a new design perfect for a 'Green-Thumber!' Measuring 97 x 221, it finishes a generous 8-1/2 x 6-1/2 on 28ct Ice Blue Lugana. She's used a medley of DMC and Weeks hand-dyed flosses, and given the conversions to Anchor floss as well.
Super cute for anyone who gardens, Val does say in the instructions that she intentionally left the picket fence very light in the background (hard to see on our model image, but it's there!), but supplies info for a darker version. Presented as a leaflet, it just makes you smile. |

Heartfelt Easter, Patriot and Valentine from October House
Heartfelt Easter, Robin's third teeny heartfelt cushion design has arrived... each of the three of these measures only 47 x 71 - finishing just 3 x 4-ish.
Cute as can be, each is presented in its own chart, just small, fun stitch projects. |

A trio of delicate florals by Tra La La has arrived.

- Coupe de Fleurs measures 105 x 95, so finishes a little under 6 x 6 on 18/36ct.

- Floralie 4 measures 83 x 100 - so 4-1/2 x 5 in size. We like the soft, contemporary personality of these.
|

Presenting Hetty's Rose Garden Biscornu and Hedgehog from Just Nan
Hetty's Rose Garden... expected about May 15... features lovely rose gardens on soft pink linen with a charming pink hedgehog nestled in the center. This pretty spring/summer design is a companion piece to Frost Flower Garden which is nearly gone. Two different garden designs of shaded pink roses with soft green leaves decorate the 2 sides of the biscornu. Sparkling gold crystal and pink crystal seed beads are sprinkled throughout. A pink quartz heart bead centers each side. The finished project is accented with a pearl pin in each of the 8 corners of the biscornu (included).
Hetty Hedgehog wears a coat stitched in shades of pink and green, highlighted with 6 Hedge Rose special stitches. Pink and gold crystal beads plus pink crystal bugle beads attached with straight pins add lots of hedgehog texture. Her pretty rose pin is made from a gold heart flower sequin, pink flower sequin and a round pink bead.
Nan has stitched both the biscornu and the hedgehog on 32 Ct Linen with 10 colors of DMC floss. Included with the leaflet are all stitching and finishing instructions, seed beads, bugle beads, heart beads, 2 sequins and bead for the rose pin, our signature button base and 8 pearl pins. You will need to provide straight pins and stuffing for both the biscornu and hedgehog. To keep them from going astray, instructions for the hedgehog are attached to the back of the color cover, held in place with a cute little heart paper clip.

Blooming Butterfly floats in on lace-edged floral wings of pansies and daffodils. Stitch with a DMC color palette of lavender, pink, green, yellow and white on 32 CT Linen.
Ice crystal beads add shimmer to the wings, while gold bronze beads accent the body and tips of the antennae.A sparkling Crystal Flower bead centers the small pansy between the antennae. A pretty design to usher in the blooming season ahead! |

Mr Ferrars' Confession from Annie Beez
This references Sense and Sensibility, published in 1812 by Jane Austen. When Edward Ferrers finally comes to propose to Eleanor after she has given up all hope, (believing him to be married to Lucy Steele) we choke up every time!
We hope you enjoy this interpretation of one of our favorite novels of all time! Stitch count is 106 wide by 148 high, done in Gentle Arts, Classic Colorworks and DMC threads. |

Audie's Pink House from Fox and Rabbit
Here's a sweet little house, classic in sampler design, surrounded by favorite sampler motifs. Measuring 137 x 79 - it's not very big and will finish about 7-1/2 x 4-1/2 on 36ct.
The willow tree, floral basket and Quaker wreath are all familiar elements, but the yard and fence add a little more personality. Very compact, organized, pleasing to the eye... it's just a pretty little piece. Chart $16.00 |

Whimsical Point Protectors
For scissors or knitting needles, these cute little things remind us of the Jibbets they stick onto Croc Shoes! Little bits of rubber (that your dog will probably love to snack on!) about an inch in size (he might not even chew them!), each has a hole to cover sharp scissor tips.
Just for fun, cute and colorful... they'd be fun to get and split the package to give everyone in the group just one... a fun table gift at a retreat too! Sets of 5 pieces. |

A Stitcher's Garden from The Drawn Thread Exclusively for the Silver Needle
By Cynthia Zittel, this is a busy design full of color and special stitches just like all her seasonal gardens. Joining Sunnyside, Kitchen, Herb and Butterfly Gardens, and the 4 Seasons set, this features everything special to its subject. She came as our Summer Event Designer a couple of years ago and this sampler and little linen tote was our project. Then, she did a companion pin cushion for our 'A Little Help From Our Friends' Stitching Circle last year to go with it.
Measuring 169 X 50 on 32ct Natural, it finishes just 10 x 3 but it's stuffed FULL of fun, specialty stitches that Cynthia loves so much. The 'flowers' in your garden are buttons, and thread spools, little floss skeins, and scissors. |

From Left: African Daisies, Haunted Lighthouse, Windmill, Fall Foxes, Spooky Cat and Corn Maze
Mill Hill's Autumn 2025 Bead Kits arrive this week!
We haven't even enjoyed summer yet, but Mill Hill always releases seasons-in-the-opposite, so you have TIME to work on them before you're ready for them.
The Button & Bead Line-Up
- African Daisies joins quite a few single floral close-ups they have... always bold and bright in color.
- Haunted Lighthouse features a dramatic wave crashing against the lighthouse, a stormy sky, and I think a pirate ship (!) in the high seas! They've added glow-in-the-dark beads to this one!
- Windmill is part of the Country Lane series - all farmhouse and tiny country scenes is that set of designs.
- Fall Foxes features a detailed pair of furry foxes amidst a busy landscape.
- Spooky Cat is ready for BUSINESS! Don't mess with him! He features Glow-in-the-dark beads as well.
- The Corn Maze is just plain fun - if you don't have allergies!
All are presented in full kit format of chart, 14ct perf paper, floss, beads and a button embellishment to make the 5 x 5 design. We order frames specially - if you need them.

From Left: Otter, UFO, Turkey Platter, Monster Plant, Spooky, Candy Bucket
The Smaller Autumn Harvest Ornment Collection This offers a fun and unique set of designs this season.
- We start with a little Otter... you never know who has those in their backyard.
- We love the UFO - we think your kids would like it too.
- The Turkey Platter is ready for Thanksgiving - I'm not sure which will take longer - preparing the actual Thanksgiving Banquet or stitching this little guy, but it's a fun fridge magnet to hold a special recipe.
- The Monster Plant kind of goes with the UFO... actually cute for anyone with a green thumb.
- Spooky is just silly.
- The Candy Bucket would make a cute fridge magnet for the Halloween season as well.
Complete kits contain the chart, 14ct perf paper, flosses, beads and a little glass or crystal Mill Hill Treasure, as well as a magnet for display. |

Recent Releases from Satsuma Street
We've been enjoying these in the shop since late last Fall.
- Monster House - Super colorful and just delightfully scary, every room in this haunted house features a different occupant. Someone down in the parlour is headless, there are ghosts dancing in the ballroom, a howling wolf is waiting in one of the bedrooms, the resident witch is brewing dinner, there are cats and bats and spiders, Dracula hanging upside down in the attic, and even a mummy up in the tower. So full of bright DMC color, the stitch count is 131 x 217, so it finishes a generous 8 x 13-1/2 on 32ct! Definitely cute to hang for the Halloween Season - and break away from just orange and blacks. Full color leaflet $17.00
- Holiday Glow - Grab some red fabric - in any count you can see - these sweet holiday birds measure just 107 x 68 - so they finish a mere 5 x 7-1/2 on 14ct. Full color chart in the leaflet for $12.00, coded for DMC. $12.00
- Winter Welcome - Something to hang for the entire winter season, you don't have to add the word welcome if you don't want that part. Coded for DMC, it measures 102 x 137 - so 6-1/2 x 9 on 32ct. Adds a little bright color to the drabness of January and February! Full sized color leaflet, $13.00.

A pair of charts for Spring and Easter, and a trio for Christmas and Winter - grab your DMC and Weeks flosses to stitch either one.

- Happy Easter includes two designs - the Bunny who looks official, and the whimsical Happy Easter greeting. Just 49 x 57 each, small and quick to stitch. Full size chart $12.00
Little bits of Winter and Christmas by Stitchy Princess
- Birds in Winter - This is really pretty worked on a darker background - to highlight all the white snow accents. Coded for DMC, some hand-dyeds from your stash would be easy to sub. Stitch count is 93 x 93 - just pretty. It doesn't SAY the season... so it can stay out a little longer! Full size chart $10.00
- Santa's Toy Shop and Mrs Claus' Bake Shop - Here's a pair of designs - they're each in their Christmas Market Booths! Santa is peddling toys and Mrs has been busy baking. Both designs measure 83 x 83, and would be perfect finished as two stand-ups side by side, or a folding 2-panel piece - you have to present these together! Charted for DMC and Weeks, pair of charts is $20.00
|

Brightness and Cheer by Way of Little Stitch Girl
- You Were Meant To Bloom - This is so sweet. It's a 72 x 72 design, stitched with either DMC or Classic Colorworks hand-dyed flosses on any chalkboard-colored fabric. Just 6 colors of thread, it's a mighty 4 inches on 18/36ct. Fresh and bright, it's a quick stitch that will really make someone special happy! Single 5 x 8 colored chart. $6.00
- Holiday Banners - 4th of July and Easter - Joining their Halloween Holiday Banner design, we get Spring's Easter, and then Summer's 4th. The farmhouses are beautiful just by themselves - Zillow would have a field day! Each has the coolest trees with gorgeous geometrics in them. July's are plaid - and that pattern is hard to design and chart! Next, are the fantastic graphics in the sky. Easter's is absolutely gorgeous, and I kind of hate that it's partially hidden by the paper banner! It's a rainbow plaid that is so cool. Then, you stitch the letter banner pieces on perf paper, cut them out, and hang 'em across the sky. Each season is its own leaflet, heavy card stock, colored charts, DMC coding. These finish about 8 x 10 on 32ct.

Flamingoes from The Mindful Needle
This is a cute set of Flamingo Flavor!
- Flock to the Sea is a fun little design measuring just 149 x 61. Stitched on a light blue or white with lots of various hand-dyed flosses, it'll stitch in a jiff. Cute as a flat stand-up, but also as a pin drum.
- Flamingo Floss Drops - This is a set of 8 small cards tethered with a flamingo charm. There are 4 pictures on them that are so funny! Something silly to enjoy with your threads.
- Flamboyant Flamingo Needle Minder - A 1 x 2 inch pink acrylic minder - lots of detail in the design cut-out. A lightweight magnet to hold needles, or the grocery list on the beach house refrigerator door!

Happiness is Being a Grandparent from Barefoot Needleart
Barefoot Needleart has kind of a cool design - it's for GRANDMA - not the baby! Both model pics on the book cover are partially obstructed, so you have to use a little imagination, but you can see a big heart outline decorated with a few flowers on one side. There is a alphabet inside - in this scrolling font - so you can personalize it with any name you want!
Mimi and Gigi are shown on the back cover. Coded for Classic Colorworks flosses, this will finish approx 9 x 8 on 18/36ct. I could see this as a photo album or memory book cover, it's really a nice alternative to a birth announcement that really isn't so cool when they're 11 years old - and they don't want in their bedroom anymore. This is for Grammy - who will treasure it always! Multi-page leaflet with huge charting. |

Garden Troubles and Orange Cat Activities from The Stitchin Kitten Designs
Two new cute kitty designs this week...
- Garden Troubles features 4 kittens just being CUTE! Each kitty-in-the-pot measures only 40 x 70 stitches - just 2 x 4 on 18ct - so stitch just one or do the whole row. Both are presented in full-sized chart format.
- Orange Cat Activities makes a 6-inch piece that might be YOUR cat! Coded for DMC, fabric is a mottled medium blue hand-dyed - we have lots of great options!
|

Voice of The Garden from Erica Michaels 'The hum of the bees is the voice of the garden.' Linda surprised us at Market with a new design that is shown stitched three different ways.
One version is on silk gauze (or could be 40 or 56ct linen), a berry, and then a regular normal-sized piece! Coded for Weeks and DMC, she's used Weeks Wools for her berry topper finishing. |

Beautiful florals and pin cushions from Samplers Not Forgotten!

Be Still is done on 36ct hand-dyed linen - the kit includes linen, floss, backing fabric, the lace trim, the pin, heart and button charms and finishing instructions. This will finish about 3 x 4 - just like its companioning Floral Heart cushion. Kit runs 40.00.

- Hummingbird's Garden Sampler - This was one of our retreat projects when Kimberly came to The Silver Needle a few years ago! It is absolutely one of my most favorite pieces EVER! A flowing border - different all around, the soft colors, LOVE the whole side of special stitches, the pretty font for the verse, everything about it is pretty. It companions her Garden of Stitches piece, and kind of resembles her two larger ones - her English and French Gardens. Stunning in person, presented as a chart, it's stitched on Week's 36ct Beige linen using Weeks flosses of Light Khaki, Peach Fuzz, Dove, Red Pear, Lily Pad, Bullfrog, Grasshopper, Olive, Gold, Sanguine and Teal Frost. $30.00
- 1830s Rose Basket Needlebook Kit - This was another She Shed Retreat project Kimberly came to present - she found the main flower basket motif on one of the antique samplers hanging in the room when she taught Hummingbird! I sent her home with the sampler, and we got this for our class afterward! Stitching on the front and back of the tri-fold piece, there is a companion scissor fob and pin cushion piece. Stitched on Weeks 36ct Confederate Gray, it features Weeks flosses of Lily Pad, Loden, Hibiscus, Aztec Red, Sun Dried Blue heron, Chestnut, Mocha and Bees Knees. All presented in chart format, $30.00.

He's getting ready for a snowball fight... same colors and design size as the previous years - this is SANTA #41! |
Two Spring 2025 Releases by Blackbird Designs Not much information before Market about these... but now they are here, and we've had time to page through them and really appreciate both of them! Lovely, lovely projects!
- The Sweet Birds Sing - 3 Projects based on an antique Welsh Sampler, the original is pretty bold and actually not very attractive. Alma worked her magic and came up with a glorious sewing roll and two little pic cushions - much softer on the colors! Lots of fun history in here... along with fantastic pictures of the inside, and assembly of the sewing case. Quite a bit to enjoy in this one! Book has 16 pages of gorgeous pics and charts, $20.00
- Gifts of the Season - 4 Projects inspired by a English Sampler, Alma includes the chart for the entire original piece in this book. Then she's done 3 smaller, updated pieces - one a pic cushion, one a paperweight, and the third - a more modest version of the sampler itself. Weeks and Gentle Art flosses, soft hand-dyed linens - it's all classic Blackbird personality! Book has 24 pages $24.00

New Needle Minders by Cherry Hill Stitchery!
Acrylic or Enameled - Take your pick!
Cherry Hill Stitchery has taken the artwork from her Miss Hollybird and Luna cross stitch designs and made them into beautiful enameled minders.Super-Stong
magnets on the backs, they measure approx 1-1/2 inches in size.
THEN, she has her cute artwork on acrylic pieces as well! Again 1-1/2 inches in size, the magnets on these are actually embedded inside the acrylic layers so without the second loose backing magnet, these are flat and lightweight! Each comes with that film-sheet cling covering that you will initially have to pull off the piece - but that keeps it from getting scratched before you own it. Delightful designs... they make you smile. We especially like the LIGHTWEIGHT feel of the acrylic pieces! |
A Great Batch from Shepherd's Bush!
- Presenting the New Shepherd's Bush Stocking - Olaf
It's Grandpa's turn (don't know who Olaf is... I haven't read T & T's story on the leaflet yet) for a stocking! Olaf has a curly beard, a bright red jacket and gray pants. Along with his reindeer friend, there is a train along the bottom as well as a sleepy little village. Leaflet runs $12, Charm pack runs $20... Same awesome charms as the other 30 in the set!
- Garden Bag - The next large mesh pouch design to release. That makes about 14 of these! Fun colors, cute fob and cushion designs to go with your bigger pouch, it just makes you happy. Chart $10.00, Pouches are $15 each, button set TBA.
