Good Advice for Life by Silver Creek Samplers
- Banner of Benevolence - This is a cool piece... lots of thoughts and advice in here. Diane has made her verses travel across the fabric to look like the stripes of the flag. It starts off with 'All people have value' and ends with 'Love will always win.' Stitched on hand-dyed fabric - could be anything you choose, or even Country Vintage Mocha. It calls for Gentle Art Sampler Threads. Measures 252 x 100, so will finish about 16 x 6 on 32ct. The design has a nice look to it.
- For Such a Moment - Perhaps you were created... A special sentiment for a special person. Stitched on anything you like, it measures 147 x 68, using Classic Colorworks hand-dyeds, so will finish approx 4 x 8. Chart runs $13.00
- That's What Pets are For - Stitch this for your dog groomer! Measures 60 x 98 - just 4 x 7 on 14ct - it's cute and quick, coded with DMC floss. Chart runs $13.00
- Unity and Love - The verse finishes with us learning to walk this Earth in Unity and Love. The motifs in this are charming... all the little fish in the waves, the airplane, sailboat and light house... it makes a nice picture delivering a good message! Measures 159 x 77, so finishes about 9 x 4, chart runs $13.00.
- Whale Wisdom - 'Explore the depths of life with care and take the time to rise for air.' Another really fun scene with the swimming blue whale and rolling waves, it delivers its message beautifully! Measures 92 x 105, so will finish about 5 x 6 - that's it! Chart runs $13.00.

Spring Offerings by Puntini
- Spring Friends - Sweet Spring animals chatting on a log, soaking up the sunshine with their best buds! This is a perfect companion to Paola's Autumn Friends, which has red spotted mushrooms and hedgehogs! Stitch count is 91 x 75, and it is worked with Weeks hand-dyeds. Just charming... Paola hand makes beautiful poylmer clay pins to poke into her creations. We chose a few sets at the show - very limited, but all cute. Poke a few into this cushion if you like!Chart runs $10.00, pins are optional and separate.
- Carrot Party - This definitely IS a carrot party! The glorious centerpiece of delight, and the cakes that live in peril, this makes a cute Springtime decoration. Measures 117 x 65 and is stitched on 32ct linen with DMC floss. Chart runs $10.00.
- Easter Alphabet Sampler - A rambling alphabet with springtime motifs scattered about. I kind of like just those motifs, with maybe one or two special initials on a tiny cushion or two. Stitched on Country Vintage Mocha with DMC, chart runs $12.00.
- Strawberry Alphabet Sampler - Same as the Easter version... I'm a firm believer in ABC and XZY cushions! Measures 88 x 123 - same size as Easter. Chart runs $12.00

Carrot Party has a carrot, bunny and flower. Sailing features a trio of red, white and blue sailboats. |

- Beach Quaker - Love this little 5 x 5 cushion! Just like PR's other small Quaker cushions, it has darling motifs. Stitched with the same colors as the rest of the designs in this set, we get a charming beach house, sailboat, crab, just all sorts of cute stuff in here! Small Chart runs $10.00.
- Sea, Sand and Stitching - What can be better? (Well maybe add a cool drink?) There is that cute little crab again and maybe a beach umbrella to stitch beneath... same great colors and personality in this one. Measures 74 x 52 - so smaller at 3 x 4-1/2. Small chart runs $9.00.
- Salty Kisses - Another fun sentiment and more cute sea 'people' - another design to go with your set. Measures 53 x 76 - so 3-1/2 x 5 on the 32ct the models are worked on, and same pretty color palette. Small Chart runs $9.00

- BunBun's Garden - This charming little tulip-shaped design measures 98 x 98 in stitch count. Choose a pretty background fabric, I especially like the pop of pink felt behind this. It finishes about 6 x 6 on 16/32ct... but if you did it on the 20ct, you'd get a 10 x 10, and another really creative and fun couch pillow! See what you can do with these neat designs - get into some big and bold finishing! The chart runs $12.00

Praiseworthy Stitches' Newest Offerings
- Black Cat Stacker - Pam has a new 3-dimensional stand-up - this year - a little black kitty. Choose a gunmetal or charcoal fabric of your liking to stitch all the little panels. It's put together with an antique wooden spool stick up through the middle of the 'do-nut' layers... the felt witch hat at the top covers the spool tip. (Our charts come with the wooden spool piece.) I bet there's a tail on this little guy in the back where we can't see it, too. Anyway, lots of time to finish this before next Halloween, it's decorated all over with tiny scary things. Black Cat stands about 10 inches high. Chart and Spool run $20.00.
- Cottontail Cottage - We finally get a Springtime version of Pam's Christmas Villages and Halloween Haunted Houses. The Easter Bunny has scattered eggs all over the yard, and everyone is scrambling to find them all. Festive Easter dresses abound, rabbits everywhere, and lots of Spring Color! Chart runs $16.00.
- Spooky Bookmarks - These would make cool backpack tags too! A limited edition this year, the kit for these contains the coffin-shaped vinyl pieces, the vinyl to stitch on, floss, chain, little bat charms and some backing materials to make these cute little 3-inch tags. They might even be fun as name-tags on candy buckets - so that candy-stealing would be deterred! Pam's kits run 18.00 - you get enough for the two tags - ghost and vampire!

Fun and Colorful - and Sometimes GIGANTIC Things from Quaint Rose!
- Bluebird Inn - Love these 2-fabric-pieces. Yard is on green fabric, background on another. Doesn't matter what count you choose - just make sure both fabrics are the same count and basic texture. I don't think I've seen anyone do Aida on the bottom and Linen on the top - but I suppose you could after all! The gigantic bird and flowers don't really diminish that cool house or yard, the whole thing is busy and fun! Measures 217 x 241 and is stitched with a medley of hand-dyeds and DMC. Chart runs $20.00
- Rudy Rooster - Another gigantic 'something' - this time that cool chicken! Everything about this makes you smile. Measures 120 x 151, and stitched with hand-dyeds and DMC, I'd love just that single bird as a single stand-up! Chart runs $13.50
- Needle Thieves - Oh, you get the stitchy lady with the big tomato head... you get the 'needleworker' cushion, the tomato needlebook, and that cute tomato vine cushion as well. A really cute set of differently-shaped pieces that will look great thrown in a pretty bowl, or tossed together on a shelf in a charming display. Chart runs $16.00.
- Ewe Berry Barn - Yet ANOTHER cool gigantic animal - Macey designed Vixen Mint Co... this companions that Christmassy design... in a summertime way. Measuring 139 x 204, it's worked with various hand-dyeds. Everything is festive, but you could separate that sheep and do her just by herself... but I love the barn too... so can't leave that off... chart runs $17.50.
- Strawberry Urn - Joins Quaint Rose's other Urn designs, they are all finished as cushion and measure about 5 x 5 in size. Cute as can be, Macey does the two-fabric-thing with these for a really cool and unique presentation. Chart runs $9.00

How can you resist Robin Pickens bright and happy colors?
- Happy Day - Just DO that! Design measures 133 x 95, choose any fabric you like. Robin has fringed her edges and sewn this onto a backing material, rather than using a paper mat. Chart runs 12.00.
- Spring Robins Courier Duo - Third in the set of 4-Seasons, the colors in this are bright and really pop. You'll recognize the tulip-bird previously charted alone, but now there is a companion bird to chirp with. See which set if your favorite - the smaller couriers, or these 'doubles.' You get the 'flavor' of the design in both versions - so I guess stitcing time and display space might help make your decision. Chart runs $12.00
- Winter Cardinals Courier Duo - LOVE those pine cones! Everything about this is crisp and classy! Rounds out the seasonal set of Duos. Measures 150 x 121 - choose a natural colored background so the white snow shows up. Chart runs $12.00
- Sweater Weather Summer Sunflowers - The final season in this 4-part set, these all measure 106 stitches in size. There is a main central motif - acorns, pine cones, wildflowers and now this sunflower - which can stand alone as your project. Robin has added THE SAME border around all of them, but changed her colors - you would never know! They are all beautiful, but wow, what a difference color can make. Chart runs 12.00.
- Glory in the Wind - This is a contemporary twist on our flag! Bluebirds are carrying red and white ribbons in their beaks - the wind is blowing - and they're making a flag! Measuring 128 x 101, this is done on Country Vintage Mocha (we have it in a million counts), with Weeks Dye Works hand-dyed flosses. It'll finish about 6 x 7 on 36ct. Robin added a chart for July 4th words on here.. but you could leave off any and all words as well. Chart runs $12.00
- Fanciful Flight - Love, love, love those bold colors on that dark 32ct Blue Spruce linen background! This measures 68 x 97 - so finishes 4 x 6. The flowers are fun, everything about this is whimsical and very artzy! Chart runs $12.00

A Colorful Set of Releases by Tiny Modernist
- Spring Bunny - Isn't this the most aristocratic Rabbit? She's elegant, and dressed in her finest velvet black hat. Peeking through the garden flowers, she'd make a beautiful 'plant poke' in an Easter Basket. Might be a little intimidating watching over the Jelly Bean bowl though. Measuring just 72 x 72, and stitched with either Weeks hand-dyeds or DMC. Choose any pretty neutral background fabric. Chart runs $10.00
- Cactus and Caravan Bell Pull - Cactus, and flamingoes. Southwestern-feeling motifs and that cute retro-camper... we googled all the design elements in this and find it is Baja, California! Measures 65 x 301, it is done with DMC floss and will finish about 3-1/2 x 17 on 18/36. I love to pull out 'just parts' of things like this - make a couple of single stand-ups or pin cushions - there are a lot of charming borders in here... see what you can do with it! Chart runs $13.00
- Meet Me At the Beach - All pinks and teals... pick a sandy-colored fabric for the background, this is done with DMC. Coded for DMC it has lots of glorious swirls and geometric patterns... very bold and commanding - and probably a challenge to stitch as well! (but soooo fun to do!) Full color leaflet chart runs 16.00.
- Spring Hummingbird Mandala - So much color going on in this, it's the first of 4 seasons of Mandala designs. Hyacinths, daffodils, tulips and alliums will be the other three - presumably publishing later this year. Lindsey has added Backstitch, Lazy Daisies and a few French Knots to this to add some texture. Measuring 130 c 184, it is done on a neutral clay color with DMC floss. Leaflet runs $16.00
- Polar Lights - You just gotta love this happy Polar Bear who is overwhelmed at his glorious winter night sky! Measuring 96 x 107, this is stitched on a navy background with regular DMC floss. A Few Fun Designs by Twin Peak Primitives
- Over The Moon - What a fun little grinning cat hang'in with his moon-buddy. Stitched on Country Vintage Mocha linen, it's only 67 x 65, so will be dinky - like 3 x 3 - if you use the new 20ct Aida for him! 10 Colors of DMC - the moon is the background fabric - so if you want that part brighter - just change fabrics! Presented as a leaflet. $8.00
- Keepsake Box Set - Lots of pieces and parts to this, the model is stitched on 18/36ct. One color of deep hand-dyed blue is used (YOUR favorite color is OK!) for the 11 stitched pieces. You'll have opportunity to stitch all or some of the pieces, and then make the box with smalls. The top and it's 4 sides, the 4 sides of the box, but then we count 5 more tiny smalls - the fobs, cushions and interior box pouches. So... we've lost count, but love all the Quaker-inspired motifs and the places for initials and such. Presented as the leaflet with finishing help! $35.00
- Patriotic Band Sampler - This is a fun piece that my eye splits into three parts! Measuring 84 x 251 - it is stitched on Rustico (natural, or oatmeal in color) and measures about 6 x 18 on 14ct. I kind of like the idea of stitching each of the three 'sections' my eye sees on 18 or 20ct... they'd be about 4 x 4 and make a cute trio of pin cushions! Leaflet $15.00.

Fun Halloween and Summer Releases by Boomerang Stitches
The Trick or Tweets: Fitz, Bea, Willa and Percy
What a fun set of birds all dressed for Halloween Festivities! Fitz looks like Frankenstein - he's in his lab brewing up 'strangeness.' Bea has her hair done high, and her 'kitchen' is decorated with a chandelier! Willa is brewing a bubble bath for evening entertainment, while Percy is the adventuresome pirate complete with parrot, a one-eyed-jack, and even the sea monster coming through the window. Check out his little peg-leg!
Each design measures about 70 x 70 in stitch count, and is worked on a neutral gray backgorund with regular DMCs. To me they lend themselves to metallic and bead touches for a little added glitz and color. Presented as charts - my favorite is Percy!

Fruit Dove Frenzy What a pretty piece to hang in a sunroom! Measuring 179 x 197, this is stitched with the prettiest palette of bright DMC flosses.
I see some sections here, so you could pullout smaller sections and stitch parts of this... but together the whole piece is bold and delightful. Presented as a chart it runs $12.00.
Ruby-Throated Hummingbirds
A pair of stunning birds, this measures 120 x 120 and is worked on a white or antique white background with brilliant DMCs.
I love the symmetry in this! Chart runs $10.00 |

Presenting Jeannette Douglas's Spring 2026 Releases
- Patriotic Sampler 2 - Wowza, you need this! Jeannette's charming sampler measures 5-1/2 x 11 on 36 linen. It has special stitches, glorious colors, AND a bunch of extra bonus projects! You get the main sampler; the Red, White & Blue Small Spool pattern; the Red, White & Blue set of 2 pin cushions and scissor fob; and the Red, White and Blue Needlebook and Flag designs. We think that counts up to 7 coordinating designs! Offered all as charts, the set of charts and silks runs $128.00. We are NOT splitting charts from threads, because they are too hard to get later on! This was our Silver Needle Summer Event project last summer... the colors are absolutely breathtaking, you'll love 'em!
- Red, White and Blue LARGE Spool - is presented as a chart and makes a long alphabet to wrap around a spool. Hint: if your spool is too large for this, back the needlework with some hand-dyed felt, or a larger fabric backing, it'll then fit your spool better. Chart runs $12.00
- Chubby Bear - Another little cutie to add to Jeannette's set of chubby animals - presented in small chart format. Chart runs $8.00
- Simple Gifts - Another fun spool finish for this one... the design is a long and skinny band of happy sewing motifs, and if you line the needlework with wool, it's fun to store needles on the backside. You have Needles all wrapped up around the spool. Presented as a chart, this runs $18.00
- Tapestry of Stitches 2 - A companion to Tapestry #1 - This is a band sampler FULL of specialty stitches. It measures about 7 x 9 when finished, and there is a silk thread packet available for this one as well. Chart AND silk pack runs $126.00. We are not selling them separately.
- Spring Alphabet Garden and Smalls - This rounds out Jeannette's seasonal set of these. You can stitch each season by itself and make drums, cushions or another spool wrap. BUTTT you can stitch all four seasons on one piece of fabric -- and boy, we've seen that, and it's commanding! Spring Garden Alphabet is a full sized chart for $16.00
- Patriotic Box - Here's another little stitch tray! The wooden trays measure about 6 x 6 each, and J has charming small designs for each opening. You can see the small pic on there that shows that backs to each little piece (hard to see), but basically you have a small needlebook, and three little cushions of various sizes. Everybody loves these trays; I think this is Jeannette's 12th or 13th! Coded for hand-dyed cottons, there is no extra thread or wool finishing packet for this. Chart runs $18.00. Trays need to be reserved as well... with no promised delivery date at this time.
- Spring Seasons in the Garden - The biggie seasonal garden series - you now have all 4 parts to this! Absolutely stunning, each season takes up a corner of this 12 x 12 piece and sports it finery. The colors are wonderful, the stitches to make the florals are charming, and your stitching is really showcased. Spring in the Garden comes with its silk packet for $78.00. Again, not splitting threads from pattern... so you are assured of getting the complete and correct pieces and parts!
- Floral Alphabets UVW, and XYZ - This has been a surprisingly pretty series of designs. We've seen them done on tiny count, and joined, we've seen family initials in there instead of the alphabet, we've seen NO alphabet - you do what you want! UVW is one chart, XYZ is another chart. $16.00 for each.

- Enchanted House Needlecase Kit - Quite the classy piece of real estate... you stitch the front and back of the case, and I am sure there are details inside too, because it stores the ruler and little thread board. Kit includes charms, beads, buttons, silk ribbons, fabrics, just everything! $76.00

- Mr Snow's Tree Fob - Soft, dusty greens and creams in this, it's a 1-1/2 inch Peyote area with another 1-1/2 inches of fringe. It'll take you about 4-5 hours to stitch! Kit $40.00

The Crescent Scissors by The Scissorists are stainless steel and feature a pink enameled 'flower' on the handles. Exactly like the Moonflowers, only totally different (!), these feature the big finger holes and super sharp tip, and the same sturdy leather protective scissor case. Their blades are curved. It lets your hand be raised off your work a little when you cut. They do not produce a curved cut - they provide more room for you! $85.00
The Moonflower Scissors by The Scissorists are Back in Stock!
Made in the USA, they are 3-inches long and feature straight razor-sharp blades for delicate cutting. They have a black finish with gold floral accents and rivet. Store them safely in their included leather case.
Fern Ridge has designed a coordinating Black Nightshade Peyote Beaded Scissor Fob for these new scissors! Featuring similar colors of beads to match the scissors, Pat and Peggy's fob is simple and elegant - just like the scissors! This should take you approx 4 hours from start to finish to create! Fob kit comes complete with beads, thread, findings, and instructions, and is sold separately from the Moonflower Scissors. |

Jean Farish Needleworks Market Previews
- America: Land That I Love Special Edition for 250 Years
Jean redid this past favorite from years ago. Presented in a 28-page booklet, each state has its own tiny square with a motif of something it's known for. Oklahoma has a farm tractor... but I think I'd use the Bison from North Dakota instead, so I guess stealing images between states is 'legal!' If stitching time or display space is limited, this would be fun if you did only the states you've lived in, or traveled to... and made them into bitty cushions to toss into a bowl. Saves on wall space! As it is a 'vintage' design, I imagine it is coded for DMC, but probably not hand-dyeds (which you could always add on your own!)
- Statehood Coasters and More
This is a cool CONCEPT for stitching. Forget the states... you can do this for ANY DATE you want. The colors in the plaid pattern correspond to your colors. So, for example if your DATE is 1835, your first color is one stripe wide, second color is 8 stripes wide, third is 3 stripes wide, and 4th is 5 wide. Then you are switching direction... and when it's worked... you make a plaid. So, her idea where was to use State's colors (didn't know there were any, so maybe you get to choose??) and according to date they entered the union - make their plaid. You have to be a 'thinker' for this one! Leaflet for $12.00.

Wooden-Lucite Bead Organizer Trays
Check these out! 5-1/2 Inch Wooden Trays with small sections to keep your beads sorted. Our Square option features 16 sections, while our Pointy Flower version has 13 compartments. The newest tray, a Rounded Flower tray, has 12 compartments, and still has the lucite lid... it just doesn't show in this pic.
Each features a clear lucite magnetized cover that lifts off easily and then easily clings back on. You'll notice the covers in the pictures - so clear and streamlined - they mirror the shape of the tray, and feature a small 'tab' somewhere to help you grab to lift off. The magnets are strong, and you CAN slip these into your stitch tote safely (unbelieveable as that sounds!). Something fun from our Wooden Tray People! |

Frames and Toppers for Heart in Hand Tiny Towns
These are cute new frames that fit the Heart in Hand Tiny Towns. VERY interchangeable... this might get confusing... but I'll try to do my best describing them. Each measures 16 x 9-1/2. They come with two easel-backing little stands to attach in the back so they stand up, if you want that option. Three different etchings options on the fronts - Threaded Needles, Jacks and Webs (Halloween), and Gifts and Lights (Christmas). Seven different topper options: Spools and Tomatoes, Park Benches, Barn and Quilt, Snowman, Merry Christmas, Haunted House, and Santa is coming.
You pick a frame, then decide on your topper. The pictures we have here feature different tiny towns in them... we literally color-copied Cecilia's covers, and cut out the stitching to slide into the frames as a DESIGN SUGGESTION. So... to order... pick a frame style $36.00, then pic a topper - $10.00. (Don't forget the topper piece, it looks wierd without it!) You can get multiple toppers, they just screw on and off easily. |

Shakespeare's Peddler's Newest Christmas Samplers are here!
Theresa was here at the shop in October for a few days of retreats... and here are our projects! The main Sampler - 'Seasons Greetings' was the class piece. THEN, each class brainstormed and learned Theresa's designing processes to come up with MORE pieces! So, 'Magic of Christmas' and 'Anticipation' are their results!
- The Magic of Christmas - This piece is all about everything that comes to mind with Christmas. Stitched with Gentle Art, Weeks and Classic hand-dyeds, Theresa added Petite Treasure Braid in opalescent and vintage silver. Stitched on 36ct Fox & Rabbit Lyrebird Dell, it finishes about 12-1/2 inches square. The ladies wanted gingerbread people, and they wanted vintage-looking ornaments. Everybody loves the Shiny Brite retro glass ones, and they were the inspiration.
- Anticipation - The Anticipation of Christmas - Waiting for Santa! The verse reads, 'We can hardly stand the wait, please Christmas don't be late!' (I can hear The Chipmunks singing!) This piece measures 233 x 142 - so on the 36ct Broomgrass Linen by Needle Bling, it finishes 13 x 8. Stitched with Weeks, Gentle Art and Classic hand-dyeds, it is also charted for DMC.
- Seasons Greetings - The sentiment on this one is MEANT to celebrate all the greetings and 'fluff' of the entire season. Theresa stressed that to her Christmas is a 'whole season' of eating, parties, greetings, well wishes, church and special services, school pagents, shopping, the music, just everything! She isn't against Merry Chrismtas, but rather embracing everything there is about Christmastime. Stitched on 36ct Picture This Plus Wren, this finishes about 12-1/2 square, and uses a medley of Weeks, Gentle Art and Classic hand-dyeds, while being coded for DMC as well. Fabric cut is a 1/6 yard cut of 36ct

Quirky Critters for 2026 from Twin Peak Primitives
I don't know if you've been following this collection of quirky critters by Twin Peak, if you haven't, take a look! DARLING animals in 4 books so far... these 7 are the newest. Critters 2026 brings a bee, butterfly, chamaeleon, frog, lamb, snail and swallow. (Even the animal mix is quirky, right?)
Between last year's Autumn, regular and Christmas designs, the girls have made their creatures colorful and added cool swirls, stripes, colors and fun POPS of design. Each book has several different animals, and you're sure to find a favorite in each of them! Huge, clear charts, nice pics, all coded for DMC, the books are nicely done! They don't call for wierd fabrics either - but you can be quirky and add that! |
Once again, SN and JDD are chartering an entire Ama Waterways River Cruise Ship - The Ama Dante - for a memorable private trip in France! Our optional Pre-Cruise days offer Paris, France May 21, 22 and 23... then the cruise on the Seine for 7 days, finishing with more optional days back in Paris and the charming surrounding villages, May 30th to June 3rd. We've been doing these cruises for over 10 years now... and just love our tours, stitching projects, and the friends we've made along the way Most of us are stitchers, but you don't have to be. You can come alone (Judy rocks at arranging good room-mate matches)... or come with your spouse (we usually have about 20 gentlemen along), relatives (we get moms, sisters, cousins... you name it) or your favorite traveling friends. Between the shore excursions, we'll enjoy a little stitching with SN and Jeannette on the ship.
Our trip highlights include some things I am familiar with, and some I am not. Some time in Paris; we're taking a cider and cheese tasting excursion, we're going to Claude Monet's gardens, there is a castle in here somewhere, a walking tour around Notre Dame, something about 'tastes of Normandy - chocolate and cheeses.' La Harve and the Bayou Tapestry, The Beaches of Normandy, and those extra days in St Malo - which sound heavenly. We have our favorite Ama Cruise Director - DeJan - who has guided us for every one of our trips. Our trips are safe, so lovely, and really a nice treat to yourself. Our Trip lady, Judy Bradford, has all the details about itinerary and specific pricing. Call her: 866-559-4449, or e-mail: jbradford@expediacruises.com. We hope you can join us!

Stitchers are always looking for fun and different trinkets and treasures to commemorate a shopping trip to Silver Needle, or some cool small gifts to take home and give to stitching friends. Check out all this fun stuffthat's now BACK IN STOCK!
- Miniature Clip Boards for Stitchers - The Spool boards measure only 5-1/2 x 7, and feature cute stitch-y decorations. Little Clip at the top - use it to hold a small finished piece of needlework! (Like a finished Mill Hill bead kit or smaller pin cushion design that is stitched, but not assembled.) There is a wooden 'stick' on the back so your board can even stand up as a display piece. The larger boards are 6 x 9. Varied woods for everything, decorative etchings on the fronts, SN's name and the stands are on the backs. Etchings are varied designs on the fronts... but our favorite is the 'To Stitch is Bliss' with all the tiny stitching motifs in the artwork. The little spool boards are $18.00, the larger run $26.
- Stitcher Night Lights! The are the cutest! What a fun thing to whip out at your next late night stitching event... or something to make you smile when you tip-toe to your bathroom in the middle of the night. (Stitchers always have stitching on their minds) Regular little bulb, on/off switch, the little hoop part measures about 3 inches in diameter. There is a cute colorful design full of stitching stuff, and the wooden heart area covers the center of the bulb, so there is no bright glare of a bare bulb. Each as a verse about stitching, this one reads 'Eat, Stitch, Sleep, Repeat.' They run $21.00.
- Beautiful Things Tray Something to keep your space organized, these little trays measure just 10 inches across, 5 inches high and are 1/2 an inch thick. They feature a lovely verse: 'Beautiful Things Come Together One Stitch at a time.' Slightly raised edges, so nothing can spill out of your area; I put a pair of 3-1/2 inch scissors there for scale. (They are sold separately from the tray.) Perfect for travel-stitchng, and holding a few threaders, trinkets and candy! Super fun and functional - $34.00.

Garden of Quilts from Lori Holt
This is just a charming row of thread spools sprouting quilted flowers! By Lori Holt, this is done with Classic Colorworks hand-dyed flosses.
If you don't want to invest all the time into stitching this whole thing... just do 4 or 5 spool flowers, or 3 or 4 sets of different multiples and make pin cushions out of them.
Colors are happy, chart is big and clear, it looks like it'd be fun to stitch! |

Pretty Floral and Animals stitched across The Mad for Plaid Vinyl Pouches from Kim Diehl
Here are 5 designs to stitch on those fun and functional plaid mesh pouches everyone loves. Choose your design... there are 12 different pouch colors to choose from... so you have options. Each design is presented in it's own leaflet. Only 'bad thing' is that these are coded for Valdani hand-dyed perle cotton - and we don't carry it! I look at these and see all the rich Weeks hand-dyeds or even just regular DMC colors!
The designs are just so charming... I see a palette of 924, 926, 3045, 3041, the 3051 greens. So, get the charts and prepare to be creative with color! The yellow honeycomb bags never came... so I'd use the yellow mesh pouch instead. |

Sweet Christmassy Designs from MTV Designs
Directly from Italy, we present these enchanting Christmas designs by Maria Theresa Vitali

Pictured are the cutest little hand-made polymer clay pins by Maria. The snowman designs have nothing to do with Gnomes.... but we bought the pins anyway... and they are included with the charts! Pins and Chart run $32.00

It is updated annually so it can be CURRENT. If you ever go anywhere in a car, YOU NEED THIS BOOK! Organized by state, each state is mapped with interstate and state highways.
The shops are all numbered on the maps... then the directory offers varied information about each. Addresses, hours, kind of product mix, phone numbers, websites... just great info to help you plan the stops on your next road trip adventure!

Pansy Patch's Lori Pengelly has sent 5 colorful and cheerful designs.
- With Love and a Little Help - Just a little 3 x 4 design on any 36ct natural coloring, the birds are decorating their tree with the help of a reindeer friend. Simple and quick, this would make a really cute pin cushion - more of a rectangular shape to it. Coded for DMC or hand-dyeds, chart runs $9.00.
- I Smell Snow - A pair of snowpeople who are definitely thrilled there is more snow coming! A simple snowflake border... I love the flowers on the roof of the house, but I miss the mullions in the windows! Measures 8-1/2 x 10-1/2 on 36ct, choose something darkish so your snow flakes show up. Coded for DMC or hand-dyeds, chart runs $15.00.
- Stitch, Jingle and Be Merry - This is a trio of small cushion designs, each one cuter than the last. On 36ct, each finishes about 3 inches in size, and is stitched with either DMC or hand-dyeds. Merry Stitchmas would be a great stitcher-friend gift! Chart runs $18.00.
- Penny Basket - A pretty 'wool penny' finish on this, your elegant florals consist of poinsettias and stitched 'pennies.' Stitched with either Weeks hand-dyed flosses or DMC, this measures just 3 x 4. All the finishing on the pillow makes it look 3 times the size! Chart runs $12.00, and includes the round patterns for the woolwork.
- Autumn Quilt Barn - the only Autumn piece in the midst of these Christmas releases, this is Lori's 4th in her seasonal barn series. Hand-dyeds or DMC... do the single barn with just one bit of flowers if you're running short on stitching time! Chart runs $13.00.
|

Christmas Square from Little Robin Designs
These are classically cute! This full-sized leaflet contains all three designs - Santa, a Nutcracker and Jolly Snowman - who all measure rather generously in size at 80 x 80 stitches.
Coded for Weeks and Classic hand-dyed flosses (with DMC conversions), these have a great look to them. Perfect for adding metallics or bead embellishments, they are simple, but have so much personality! |

Chilly Cardinals Sampler from Artful Offerings
Well, these little guys are chatting away - they don't LOOK cold! Perched on their evergreen trees, it appears to be snowing quite heavily, but they don't seem to mind. Finishing about 8-1/2 x 6-1/2 on 36ct Country Vintage Mocha linen, they are worked with good old regular DMC floss!
Once again, Karina has great symetry and geometrics in her designs... the pop of red against the quiet greens and subtle whites... the snow is a combination of flakes and alphabet letters. |
Holy Night from Madame Chantilly
Rosanna Gallo has a charming design of a sleepy village waiting for Santa's visit on Christmas Eve. Measuring 283 x 118, it finishes about 16 x 6-1/2 on 18/36ct. Stitched with DMC floss, you COULD add bits of metallics to deer noses or the snow. We're kind of mixing up religion with Santa in this... so it would be possible to leave off the 'Holy Night', or the Santa in the sleigh with flying reindeer... that's your choice!
I love the sweater on that last deer, and of course, Rudolph's nose! We also think this would be darling finished as a round pin drum as well. It's long and not too high... and you could even do JUST the Santa and deer, OR the village for that presentation! Offered as a chart $16.00 |

Summer House Stitche Workes is finishing her 2025 Fragments in Time Series
- Fragments 7 and 8 - This year, we had 4 small Halloween pieces and 4 small Christmas pieces. Our #7 features Rudolph lighting the way during a snowy blizzard, and #8 has Merry the mischievous elf peeking out the window at you. Beth has two freebie border charts on her website - to stitch these into foursomes. They'd make cute little cushions too. All are presented as small, individual charts - super, super cute this year, they are running $8 each.
- Upon a Midnight Clear - Oh this is really pretty. Beth suggests you find your favorite color of fabric and choose a contrasting thread color - this will work with many different choices! Measuring 135 x 104, it finishes about 7-1/2 x 5-3/4. It's Aida friendly, and will take 3 skeins of DMC floss. Such a pretty repeating pattern of the snow, holly and trees, with the quiet house nestled down in there.
|

Winter at the Home of a Needleworker by Little House Needleworks
Diane's latest chart... this finishes about 5-1/2 x 8 on 32ct. It's coded for Classic Colorworks hand-dyed flosses, with DMC alternatives.
Think about putting a family name in there rather than the needleworker part... even dump the words all together, stitch two more cardinals and that pretty greenery down there. This has pretty design elements. |

Christmas Arrivals from Hands On Design!

|

New from Blueberry Ridge
- The Postmouse's Christmas Delivery - Oh my gosh, this is the CUTEST! Look at this darling mouse pulling a striped sled full of precious packages! He's carrying his skinny sprig of holly and greenery for a festive touch - even though he's trudging through a blizzard of quilted snowflakes! Stitched on 36ct, he measures just 4-1/2 x 5-1/2 and is stitched with a medley of hand-dyeds from Weeks, Gentle Art and Classic. This is finished as a Christmas Card Sack, but he'd be cute as a open-topped box, or even a little doorstop!
- The Potting Bench #2 - Emily has already done one set of these charming flower pots that are full of stylized, modern florals. This is Potting Bench Collection #2. Super fresh, pretty colors, each pot is only 3 x 3, so absolutely charming! Chart includes all three pot designs.

|

Snow Ho-Ho from X's & Oh's
When we saw this design, we just loved it, regardless of all the stitching it requires! Finishing a huge 11 x 17 on 32ct, find a deep blue blue background for all the whites, reds and greens to pop on. She's added opalescent metallic and beads to the snowflakes, and flake buttons as well. (Mill Hill makes fabulous metal snowflake treasures #15001)
The branches are never-ending and full of quarter stitches... but wait till you get to the snow... and the snowmen! You need to be a prolific stitcher to get this one done! The over pic on the leaflet is actually nice enough to cut out and frame! |

Acrylic Thread Boards from Rosewood Manor
Karen Kluba has sent some 2-1/2 and 3 x 5 plastic thread holders - featuring her stitched artwork. You'll recognize the Celebrations design, and her Merry, Merry.
Neither one has her name or logo on it, not even the design name... so they are totally generic, but absolutely lovely!
Get one for your 250th Anniversary stitching this year and the other one to tuck into a stitcher's Christmas stocking! |
Rainbow Scissors
These are pretty things! 3-1/2 Inch embroidery and stork styles, they're nice.
The 'baked on?' finish on them is a rainbow color - the light hits them and they just glisten with purples, blues, greens, golds and pink.
Not DOVO quality but for $7 and $9, they're great! |

Sweets of the Vine Pinkeep from Scattered Seed Samplers
A hungry bird gathering berries, he finishes kind of large. Measuring 115 x 57, so about 7-1/2 x 4-1/2 on 36ct Country Vintage Mocha Linen, he's stitched with regular DMC thread!
Stitch and finish this as a larger cushion to kind of nestle in the bottom of your bowl filled with smalls; it's large enough not to get lost down there! Chart $12.00.

Some fun 'Creeps' from Rebel Stitcher
- Jeepers Creepers - This is cute! I think it'd be fun on a gunmetal colored fabric, so those dancing skeletons would show up more. Just 5 shades of thread, it measures 143 x 77, so will finish about 8 x 4 on 18/36ct. Presented as a nice full sized chart - $15.00
- Yikes - Another fun one, this little kitty is 143 x 138 in size, so about 8 x 8 on 18/36ct. Stitched on a dramatic orange background, almost all of this is black, and it'd be tempting to stitch the cat outline and then just fill him in! Black metallic would be stunning on the stars, a little wool thread on that tail?
- Spooky Smalls - There are seven designs in here! Each one is tiny, super easy to do, and the entire set is stitched with the same color palette of Gentle Art hand-dyes. Black Licorice, Orange Marmalade, Grape Leaf, Tomato, and Purple Iris. Foggy Night (bottom left) has purple clouds hiding the golden moon - it looks promising!

Sweater Weather is Coming! With Thy Needle's Brenda Gervais has 5 new designs that all celebrate the upcoming Autumn, Christmas, and Winter seasons!
- Sweater Weather CS365 - This chubby snowman might melt underneath all his warm clothes! Wearing his winter-y sweater, he does have a little candy cane in his hand that you can leave off - less of a 'Christmas' suggestion. He'll be but as a little block stand-up on your windowsill all season long. Chart format, using a medley of hand-dyeds, he measures only 3 x 4 on 36ct.
- Quaker Snippets #2 CS366 - This is the second smaller seasonal Quaker-inspired design in this series. Measuring just 94 x 94 (Like its Autumn counterpart), it features hand-dyeds stitched into cute little wintery snowmen, houses, and even a tiny Christmas Pudding! Chart format, it'll make a cute cushion... but if you wait for 4 or 5 of these to be published, you COULD make all of them into one standing cube!
- Winter Trio CS367 - The last of these trio patterns... three more 75 stitch count pieces... now you have 12 spanning the year. Stitch them all, finish with different coordinating Chenille trims and throw them all in a bowl! Chart format, a mixture of hand-dyeds... all of these have been really cute.
- Bells Are Ringing CS368 - This Christmas Time! A very stately house amidst the most festive candy cane garden! Each window of the house is decorated, the floral urn outside is full of candy canes, and the red cardinal is bringing even more decor! Measures 168 x 108, uses a medley of hand-dyeds, and features regular cross stitch, along with some Long, Smyrna, and over-one stitching.
- Snowmen in the Forecast CS369 - Frosty blue and white quilted snowflakes in the sky, a cozy little cabin in the piney woods... this chart includes all three designs pictured. Just cute and quick, as always a medley of hand-dyeds to stitch these cute little pics. The font used reminds me of Brenda's SnowBall Leaflet designs.

All you Mill Hill bead kit lovers - take note! These are the coolest little wooden 'hoops' that cling together with extra-strong mini-magnets. Designed to fit the papers inside the Mill Hill bead kits - the little one fits the $10 ornament kits, the larger one fits the bigger button and bead kits. They give you something more to hold onto than just the bit of paper, and your thread doesn't get caught on the corners of the paper! Pretty etchings in the wood - we have assorted designs, and all look nice.
The smaller frame measures 4 x 5 overall, while the larger measures 7 x 7. You CAN use them for fabric, and actually, you COULD even use these as real finishing frames as well, even though they are designed to be used like a standard hoop. Gorgeous Offerings from Rosewood Manor
- Merry Merry Christmas - We've seen this stitched already - in real live person! A row of brightly colored stylized trees against a medium blue hand-dyed background, Karen has designed this with DMC floss and Rainbow Gallery's Entice thread. Really bright and fun shades, this is full of sparkle and personality. he Entice is a metallic/rayon blend that adds that sparkle. The chart calls for multiple cards of some of the colors (9 in total.) Measuring 315 x 135, it will finish approx 20 x 8-1/2 on 32ct. The booklet also includes multiple smaller motifs and trees that are shown on the back cover in a digital sampler, so there are a lot of project possibilities with this pattern.
- Nature - This is a gorgeous garden on wildflowers and possibly weeds. Stunning in person, the entire piece is done with just Weeks Dye Works hand-dyed flosses of Light Khaki, Fawn, Peach Fuzz, London Fog and Flatfish. You guessed it - multiple skeins of each. Lots of fun stitches in here - Triple Leviathan, Diamond Smyrna Stars, Four Sided, Algerian Eyelet, along with a lot of variations on some of these give it so much texture. The fabric will be a challenge. It is graduated top to bottom - light to dark - blue in hue. The dyer was not able to re-create the exact colors in Karen's piece, so you might want to start practicing specialty fabric dying on pillowcases or a big bed sheet (to give yourself lots of opportunity to learn!). I think this would be pretty on a lot of darker hand-dyed - to make the creamy colors pop.

From Left: True Love, To The Moon, Together, Home

Here are 4 cheerful hearts full of love to stitch! The artwork of 'Sticks' adapted to cross stitch by Mill Hill, this is a set of 4 two-sided designs. You can stitch them and finish back-to-back to make 4 pieces, or finish individually into 8 pieces.
Each pair comes as a complete kit of 14ct perforated paper, DMC floss and a smattering of Mill Hill seed beads. Measuring about 4 inches in size each, they'll make cute magnets... or swap out the paper for fabric and make little cushions... or maybe make them all and overlap them into a framed medley of luscious color! |

Cross Stitch Wonders has 6 real cute ornament designs to stitch. Presented as single full color charts, the 4 jingle bell designs are all about the same size - 44 x 70-ish.
The little clock measures 41 x 77, and the Oktoberfest Nutcracker is 38 x 67. They remind me of our travels to the Christmas Markets in Europe! Coded for DMC, put them on perforated paper for a cute and quick finish. |
Cats & Bats & Ghosts for Halloween from Willoughby Ann

- Black Cat Round Thread Keep measures 4 inches.

These are just cute and colorful. The set of 10 might be fun broken up into individual drops - fill them with a bit of thread, and use them for tree ornaments!

Painted Pumpkins from Lola Crow
We love this design! Nine perfect little pumpkins - all the same size, they are all patterned differently - but use the same 5 DMC colors.
You could go nuts with this one! Add metallics, re-arrange them into a long row for a windowsill cushion, or make a drum, do individual pin cushions, lots of great options. Very cute design, each pumpkin measures only 30 x 30! Full color chart in leaflet format. $9.00 |

Carve Me Scissor Fob from Fern Ridge

Whatever you choose, this little fob will just make it perfect. Of course, everything is included in the kit. $40.00 |

Blue Velvet, Love and Grow from Jan Hicks Creates
- Blue Velvet - Reminiscent of her lace designs this is an elegant medley of borders and meandering medallions. Jan mentions old wallpaper as inspiration for this. While she shows this is blue colors, you could change that to any color you'd like better - the pattern calls for either DMC or hand-dyeds of Wavy navy, Blueberry Tart, Blue Jay and Wrought Iron. Just really fun, it measures 222 x 172, and actually has several 'sections' to my eye, so if you can't get the entire thing done... find your favorite motifs in here and just do those!
- Four Letter Words: Love and Grow - A pair of designs celebrating GOOD four letter words, Give and Hope will round out this set of 4 designs later in the year. Measuring 102 x 101, and all using the same colors, they will finish approx 5 inches in size on 40ct.

New Curly Girls Designs from Mill Hill!
Four colorful projects are here from Curly Girls... always full of great advice for a happy life, these 4 are charming. Complete kits worked on 28ct linen (so the smatterings of bead embellishments fit), they include the chart, beads, threads and needles.
'Beginning' tells you to remember that the beginning can start anywhere along the way.
'Perfect Friend' talks about your precious dog not living all the days of YOUR life...
'Airmail' is full of Love Stamps, and
'Give Us Our Shine' shows a little cracked bowl, but it says that sometimes it's what we survive that gives us our shine! |

Song of the Forest from The Needle's Notion
Here's a fun 'wreath' design - to hang on a door. It's a woodland scene of a forest tree, complete with squirrels. A cottage back there, some deer, even little fish in the stream. The stitching isn't too involved, so this looks bigger than it actually is. Measuring 176 across, it'll be 10 inches on 18/36.
Choose larger fabric and make a larger wreath. The fabric is simply cut out, and button-hole stitched onto a felt backing! No sewing, a flat finish... actually really charming! Presented as a chart it is coded for DMC floss with a few hand-dyeds tossed in. (Note: There are a few other designs from The Needle's Notion on our Christmas Seasonal page.) |

The Flossabilities House Collection
OHHH... I'm kind of thinking any of these would be fun to live in... especially that 'Shack' on the shore!
Four enchanting abodes... choose the ones you like best. All are presented with full color cover pic, and black and white chart inside, and coded for DMC.
Leaflet pics are very true to help you choose fabric colors. The Cabin, Chalet and Shack are all basically the same size about 100 x 200. The Trick or Treat Town is a little larger at 130 x 225. |

The Nine-Patch Mini Pillows from Flossabilities
This is a nice grouping of coordinating designs - we've got the 4 seasons as well as Halloween, Christmas, and the Sea covered! All presented on 6 x 9 card stock with charts printed in black, each has a beautiful color pic on the cover, and is worked on varied colors of fabric.
Each 73 x 73 design is worked with ONE color of hand-dyed floss - again suggestions in the charts - but you can decide what you like best! 14 count makes them 5 inches, 40 over two makes them 3-1/2 inches. |

Pretty Bands and Florals from Samplers and Primitives
- Noel Band Sampler - I see two parts to this piece - that little skinny sampler on the left, and the elegant borders and urn on the right. Stitched on a cream background, threads are a medley of hand-dyeds, it measures 180 x 150. Chart runs $16.00
- Noel Ornament Sampler - Another cute little house nestled in between evergreens, the reds and greens really bring out the design details on the Quaker medallions. Recommended fabric is a neutral or vintage color, 141 x 180, I don't think this one uses hand-dyeds - I think it's DMC! Chart runs $16.00
- Rich Autumn Harvest - Wow, talk about a pop of pumpkin color! Measuring 126 x 100, you're probably down to 90 x 90 without the borders - this is just stunning! Calls for DMC and Gentle Art hand-dyeds, chart runs 16.00
- Floral Band Sampler - Here's another pretty option of bands and that beautiful floral near the bottom. It would be pretty just by itself, finished into a small pin cushion. The chart says it is not suitable for white fabric - I think there are lots of design details we cannot see on here because the picture is too light. Measures a generous 154 x 266 - so 8-1/2 x 15 on 36ct - again, a nedley of DMC along with hand-dyeds. Chart runs $18.00

Hello From Liz Matthews - Enjoy her fun releases!
- Secret Garden - What a happy profusion of color! Stitched on a neutral background, Liz chose DMC floss and did those tiny diamonds scattered everywhere with gold metallic!
- Holly Wreath - What a pretty garland of holly surrounding this grand bird! Stitched with Needlepoint silk, just the bird by itself, or simply a pin cushion of that holly would be stunning.
- House on Pumpkin Hill - This is cute - love the leafy border, love the hill full of pumpkins. Liz mentions the cat and witch silhouettes on the sides of the house - which I missed at first - leave them off and add a star or two instead if you don't want 'Halloween.' Those upside-down sunflowers are kind of hinky and fun too! Meauires 101 x 131.
- Ghosting to Town - Little ghosts out for a walk! The town - going up and down the sides makes this really unique. Stitched on something dark and mangy, or light and bright!
- Quaker Star Christmas - This is a cute little piece! Simple stitching in just 4 DMC colors of 935, 918, 3051 and 3011, the stitch count is 140 x 136. The beads along the edge look involved, but are super easy to do and offer a really cool finishing treatment. Hardest thing about this is sewing that star shape!
- Festive Mini Trees - Cute as can be... use this finishing idea for lots of Christmassy designs! Liz has that tutorial on her website. Worked with DMC, these are only 55 x 50 in size - rinky dinky!
- Fa La La - We think this would be nice finished into a pillow rather than framed. We like the balls and the colors - this begs for a colorful chenille trim. Actually, if you did 18ct linen over two - it'd be 15-1/2 x 8-1/2 in size and it'd be really festive on the couch! Classic Colorworks of Cherry Cobbler, Honeycomb, English Ivy, Mossy, Tennessee Red Clay, & Blackbird.
- Santa's Night Tree - This is almost like Liz's 'To All a Goodnight' design from last fall. Basically most of the entire same design, she's put this on a deep sky blue and reversed some of the reindeer to fill the sky - and then finished it into her tree shape. Cute as can be, the tree is just a flat triangle shape - open at the bottom, filled with wadded paper or fiberfill, and stuck on a candlestick or other cute base. The design is super cute - this whole little tree will be about 5 x 7 in size! Smaller than you think! Chart runs $12.00.

- Pumpkin Pals - Another really cute and different finishing treatment on this... you get the pumpkin 'basket' chart, as well as the three stand-ups to stuff inside. Rainy Day and City Lights from Boomerang Stitches
This is a pair of stunning designs by Boomerang Stitches. Due to arrive in the shop the last week of August... I just love them, and couldn't wait to show them off! Presented as individual charts, each measures 121 x 121 in stitch count and is coded for about 20 shades of DMC floss.
These two are worked on an antique white background - you can choose virtually any count you like. So clean, crisp, sophisticated and balanced, I love the symmetry, the geometric lines, and the way the stitches suggest shadows. (Do you remember the artwork of Charlie Harper? Reminds me of his artwork!) |

Henny Penny & Sewing Roll from Stacy Nash Designs!
Little Henny Penny Hen joins the Animal Cracker Collection of Stacy's. She finishes about 5 x 7 on 36ct linen and is worked with Weeks hand-dyed flosses.
Her companion sewing roll measures 10 x 4-1/4, and is decorated with farmyard birds and a 'quilt' of sorts. Presented in chart format - like the rest of the Crackers. |

Land That I Love Biscornu Book from Teresa Kogut
Here's a really cool book that contains 10 different designs (some are shown above) - all the same size at about 80 x 80 in stitch count. Teresa has designed them geometrically - and then assembled them into Biscornu shaped pin cushions.
She uses one general color palette throughout the book, so all of these pieces coordinate... and you can mix and match them to assemble into the cushions.
Just charming, you see the top design, but then bits of the bottom peeking around the edges, and they look even better when two different fabrics are used! Multiple pages, huge color charts, luscious pictures, all these need is you to enjoy! |

Welcome Home from Jardin Prive
Here's a sweet piece to stitch for the hallway right inside your entry door. You need to welcome YOU to your house!
Change a couple of colors if you need to.... stitch it for a friend's new digs... it's coded for DMC and will stitch in a jiff! Presented as a chart. |

Stitchy Spot from October House
Another Skinny Mini chart by October House will be a quick stitchI. It is presented as a small chart, with a gorgeous model pic on the cover.
Measuring just 161 x 38... all of these Skinny Minis finish about 2 x 9... and make the cutest pin cushions or frame weights. Stitched with a medley of hand-dyeds - not much of any one of them - you can change our colors to match YOUR Stitchy Spot if necessary! |

The Mill Hill Village
You'll recognize these Christmas Village businesses as Mill Hill Button and Bead kits that are super hard to get right now. BUT, we have Wichelt's 40th Anniversary book in stock (published in 2010 when they WERE 40 years old) and they INCLUDED the charts for these 4 bead kits right in THIS BOOK!
Currently we do have the Apothecary and Bakery bead kits in stock - but not the General Store or Toy Shoppe (which have been unavailable for over a year.) So... get this book! You can purchase the beads open stock!
Actually, the book is gorgeous. It has 40 pages and includes designs by several artists Mill Hill represents. There are florals by Permin, pretty cross stitch designs by Debbie Mumm, Sticks, Jim Shore, these 4 village pieces, a Sandy Cozzolino Santa, Mirabilia, and Thea Gouverneur. You'd never know how good this book is based on its cover! |

Presenting: This Land from Shakespeare's Peddler
Teresa just sent us a note about her newest chart... here it is! Stitched with hand-dyeds, it measures about 7 x 8.
I love the framing treatment... she's done a border of fabric and sewn buttons in the corners! Chart runs $12.00 |

Cicada's Song Sampler from Cosford Rise Stitchery
This is a pretty piece! Measuring 228 x 227, it finishes about 12 x 12 on 36ct. That cool stone mill is surrounded by a meandering wildflower border that doesn't repeat anywhere! Can you see the little pond down in the bottom left corner of the border?
The verse reads: Magnolia blooms and cotton fields, where gentle rivers wind, in southern warmth and cicada's song, the heart of home you'll find. Coded for DMC or a medley of hand-dyed flosses... this is super-charming! |

At the Heart of It, Counting Our Blessings, No More Twist, Fox Winks from Teresa Layman
Teresa Layman has a DOZEN new knotwork designs... and they've all arrived in the shop! (Click through to see the other 8.) Teeny, tiny, these are used for doll house rugs or just gorgeous small pieces of needleart - hopefully safely framed! Each pattern comes as the actual-sized line drawing printed on a special knotwork fabric and your needle.
You'll need a tight hoop and DMC floss. Every single stitch in these is a single wrap French Knot with one strand of floss... just like paint by' number... you fill in the areas with the knots. Absolutely exquisite! Click the pics to see the other 8 new designs... along with so many other cute ones! |

Talk Dirt to Me from Val's Stuff
Val's Stuff has a new design perfect for a 'Green-Thumber!' Measuring 97 x 221, it finishes a generous 8-1/2 x 6-1/2 on 28ct Ice Blue Lugana. She's used a medley of DMC and Weeks hand-dyed flosses, and given the conversions to Anchor floss as well.
Super cute for anyone who gardens, Val does say in the instructions that she intentionally left the picket fence very light in the background (hard to see on our model image, but it's there!), but supplies info for a darker version. Presented as a leaflet, it just makes you smile. |

A trio of delicate florals by Tra La La has arrived.
Offered as charts, these all feature a soft color palate of Classic Colorworks and Gentle Art hand-dyed flosses.
- Coupe de Fleurs measures 105 x 95, so finishes a little under 6 x 6 on 18/36ct.
- Dans ma Prairie features little white lambs amidst the flowers and alphabets. Both designs are included in the chart pack, and they measure just 65 stitches each to finish only 3-1/2 inches on 18/36.
- Floralie 4 measures 83 x 100 - so 4-1/2 x 5 in size. We like the soft, contemporary personality of these.

Running with Needle and Thread from Stitches by Ethel
It looks like some ornery bunnies have invaded someone's stitching basket!
This measures 95 x 48 on 28ct fabric. Chart is $9.00 |

Whimsical Point Protectors
For scissors or knitting needles, these cute little things remind us of the Jibbets they stick onto Croc Shoes! Little bits of rubber (that your dog will probably love to snack on!) about an inch in size (he might not even chew them!), each has a hole to cover sharp scissor tips.
Just for fun, cute and colorful... they'd be fun to get and split the package to give everyone in the group just one... a fun table gift at a retreat too! Sets of 5 pieces. |

A pair of charts for Spring and Easter, and a trio for Christmas and Winter - grab your DMC and Weeks flosses to stitch either one.
Something Yellow for Springtime by Stitchy Princess
- Queen Bee measures 83 x 83, everyone likes the honeycomb center pattern - it'd make a cute solid pin cushion. Full size chart $10.00
- Happy Easter includes two designs - the Bunny who looks official, and the whimsical Happy Easter greeting. Just 49 x 57 each, small and quick to stitch. Full size chart $12.00
Little bits of Winter and Christmas by Stitchy Princess
- Birds in Winter - This is really pretty worked on a darker background - to highlight all the white snow accents. Coded for DMC, some hand-dyeds from your stash would be easy to sub. Stitch count is 93 x 93 - just pretty. It doesn't SAY the season... so it can stay out a little longer! Full size chart $10.00
- Santa's Toy Shop and Mrs Claus' Bake Shop - Here's a pair of designs - they're each in their Christmas Market Booths! Santa is peddling toys and Mrs has been busy baking. Both designs measure 83 x 83, and would be perfect finished as two stand-ups side by side, or a folding 2-panel piece - you have to present these together! Charted for DMC and Weeks, pair of charts is $20.00

Happiness is Being a Grandparent from Barefoot Needleart
Barefoot Needleart has kind of a cool design - it's for GRANDMA - not the baby! Both model pics on the book cover are partially obstructed, so you have to use a little imagination, but you can see a big heart outline decorated with a few flowers on one side. There is a alphabet inside - in this scrolling font - so you can personalize it with any name you want!
Mimi and Gigi are shown on the back cover. Coded for Classic Colorworks flosses, this will finish approx 9 x 8 on 18/36ct. I could see this as a photo album or memory book cover, it's really a nice alternative to a birth announcement that really isn't so cool when they're 11 years old - and they don't want in their bedroom anymore. This is for Grammy - who will treasure it always! Multi-page leaflet with huge charting. |

Garden Troubles and Orange Cat Activities from The Stitchin Kitten Designs
Two new cute kitty designs...

- Orange Cat Activities makes a 6-inch piece that might be YOUR cat! Coded for DMC, fabric is a mottled medium blue hand-dyed - we have lots of great options!

Voice of The Garden from Erica Michaels 'The hum of the bees is the voice of the garden.' Linda surprised us at Market with a new design that is shown stitched three different ways.
One version is on silk gauze (or could be 40 or 56ct linen), a berry, and then a regular normal-sized piece! Coded for Weeks and DMC, she's used Weeks Wools for her berry topper finishing. |
Beautiful florals and pin cushions from Samplers Not Forgotten!
- Be Still My Heart - One of Kimberly's new pin cushion kits, we love these heart shaped ones the best! Be Still is done on 36ct hand-dyed linen - the kit includes linen, floss, backing fabric, the lace trim, the pin, heart and button charms and finishing instructions. This will finish about 3 x 4 - just like its companioning Floral Heart cushion. Kit runs 40.00.
- Be My Valentine - A rectangular cushion - this one features roses in a vintage design style. Again, the complete kit contains 36ct linen, floss, backing fabric, the lace trim, silver love letter envelope charm and finishing instructions. Kit runs $40.00.
- Autumn Abundance - Love this one - that pretty heart shape but with deeper, richer colors. Kit contains the 36ct hand-dyed linen, floss, backing fabric, the silk ribbon trim for the ruffled edge treatment, button charm, and finishing instructions, and runs $40.00.
- Hummingbird's Garden Sampler - This was one of our retreat projects when Kimberly came to The Silver Needle a few years ago! It is absolutely one of my most favorite pieces EVER! A flowing border - different all around, the soft colors, LOVE the whole side of special stitches, the pretty font for the verse, everything about it is pretty. It companions her Garden of Stitches piece, and kind of resembles her two larger ones - her English and French Gardens. Stunning in person, presented as a chart, it's stitched on Week's 36ct Beige linen using Weeks flosses of Light Khaki, Peach Fuzz, Dove, Red Pear, Lily Pad, Bullfrog, Grasshopper, Olive, Gold, Sanguine and Teal Frost. $30.00
- 1830s Rose Basket Needlebook Kit - This was another She Shed Retreat project Kimberly came to present - she found the main flower basket motif on one of the antique samplers hanging in the room when she taught Hummingbird! I sent her home with the sampler, and we got this for our class afterward! Stitching on the front and back of the tri-fold piece, there is a companion scissor fob and pin cushion piece. Stitched on Weeks 36ct Confederate Gray, it features Weeks flosses of Lily Pad, Loden, Hibiscus, Aztec Red, Sun Dried Blue heron, Chestnut, Mocha and Bees Knees. All presented in chart format, $30.00.

Prairie Schooler's 2025 Santa is here.
He's getting ready for a snowball fight... same colors and design size as the previous years - this is SANTA #41! |
Two Spring 2025 Releases by Blackbird Designs Not much information before Market about these... but now they are here, and we've had time to page through them and really appreciate both of them! Lovely, lovely projects!
- The Sweet Birds Sing - 3 Projects based on an antique Welsh Sampler, the original is pretty bold and actually not very attractive. Alma worked her magic and came up with a glorious sewing roll and two little pic cushions - much softer on the colors! Lots of fun history in here... along with fantastic pictures of the inside, and assembly of the sewing case. Quite a bit to enjoy in this one! Book has 16 pages of gorgeous pics and charts, $20.00
- Gifts of the Season - 4 Projects inspired by a English Sampler, Alma includes the chart for the entire original piece in this book. Then she's done 3 smaller, updated pieces - one a pic cushion, one a paperweight, and the third - a more modest version of the sampler itself. Weeks and Gentle Art flosses, soft hand-dyed linens - it's all classic Blackbird personality! Book has 24 pages $24.00
