It's Pumpkin Season According to Needle and Moss! We have three new designs on the way - due in the shop late August! Hello Pumpkin - Wow, are these charming or what? Two different colorway suggestions are presented in this pattern to stitch your six design panels on six pieces of fabric and then join them into a festive pumpkin! On 36ct, your creation will be approximately 4-1/2 inches tall, be 6 inches wide, and have a 16-inch circumference. Complete finishing/assembly instructions - photos and all - are included... these are absolutely the coolest little things! Chart runs $16.00. Home So Sweet - 'Sweet is the smile of home' is the featured verse on this pretty Autumnal design. Organized trees, wandering vines, and Quaker motifs, it is done on 36ct Arboreal Linen by Cedar River. (You have a piece (pretty tight fit though) of it in your latest Circle of Friends Kit we hopefully just sent you!) I love all the borders the motifs seem to make on here. Measuring 177 x 135, it finishes about 10 x 7-1/2 on the 36ct, and is stitched with hand-dyed cottons. Chart runs $14.00. Oh, Nuts - Two designs are presented in this chart - The squirrel biscornu near the bottom of the pic, and the pretty 5-inch Autumn Square design. Both projects are stitched on 36ct Oatmeal from Fiber on a Whim with hand-dyed cottons. Love the colors, love the geometrics of the repeating motifs... she's even squared off the biscornu top design, and made 'fake sides' with her tiny repeating squares. Hard to see in the pic, but really a different visual effect. Chart runs $14.00
Stars and Stripes by Needle and Moss - This is a small Quaker-inspired piece that is stitched on a deep blue background with only 3 shades of hand-dyed floss - Carolina Cecil, Blackboard and Bunny Honey. It finishes just under 5 x 7 on 16/32ct. The finishing however, really catches your eye... and really dresses this up! Complete instructions are included inside the chart for all the necessary fabrics and finishng details for the torn-strip flag banner assembly, so your little sampler with hopefully look just like the cover model! Presented as a full-sized color chart, it runs $13.00 Tomato, Tomahto by Needle and Moss - This is a fun piece! Michelle has charted this is both a flat/framed sampler presentation, and a 3-dimensional tomato piece! Inside the chart, you'll find the templates for stitching placement and cutting, as well as her info to download complete assembly instructions. Choose any red fabric you like and a white or creamy thread... the greenery on top is Weeks Dye Works hand-dyed wool... which we have in several different green shades.
