No rough or jagged edges to catch anything, and that pretty lasered wood treatment in the centers, we are really impressed with them. They are large enough so you can find them in your bag, and actually the cat and dog designs offer that extra area to tie larger bundles of thread if you need it. | |

It's kind of hard to see the detail in the pic, but the background is solid stitching of 3053 with a meandering vine of 3828.  Puppies by Artmishka Aren't these little guys cute? Each puppy - all four are included in the chart - is only 66 stitches in size, and worked in just DMC 3799. Stitched them individually or together - they companion Artmiska's kittens. | |
 Bath Day by Artmishka Well, aren't these the cutest little things? Little kitties playing on the clothesline. The design actually doesn't make sense because I don't think cats really do play on clotheslines... but they're so darling, you can't resist them. Super easy to stitch, they measure just 149 x 83 and are done with black floss. Just makes you smile. | |

 Animal Crackers from Stacy Nash This is an ever-growing set of charming stitched stand-up animals and smaller animal face fobs -- all presented as separate charts. Each is stitched on hand-dyed linen -- various colors -- choose any count you want. On 32 the CRACKER stand-ups finish approx 3 x 7-ish... Harrison is 10-1/2 inches though because of his ears. Cute and very vintage, decorate each with old ribbons and buttons. How fun to tuck a couple of them into your ever-growing basket of stitched pin cushions!  12 Dogs and Cats of Christmas from The Blue Flower Presented in two different books - enjoy all these little fur babies doing things they are supposed and NOT supposed to do at Christmas! Jeannine has cats in one book, dogs in the other... she's mixed up the dog varieties, and given all those cats different colors of fur coats, so you can find your favorites and adapt if need be. Cats are worked on a steel blue color (close to DMC 415), dogs are on a tan (DMC 613/453 background.), and coded for DMC and hand-dyeds. Both are full of cuteness and color! | |

 It's All in the Eyes from Ronnie Rowe Each of these is stitched on any white fabric you want, using DMC 310 black. The eyes are the only color on each, so it really draws YOUR eye! They all measure around 160 x 180 - so 9 x 10-ish on 18ct. These can be quite challenging to stitch because the chart counting can really confuse you. MAKE SURE to use a highlighter to color the chart parts you've already stitched... it really helps. Another good tip is basting the heavy chart lines - some like to do that. Don't baste every thread - just make long stitches 10 threads apart to follow the grid lines of the chart, and don't pierce that thread when you are stitching - that way it pulls right out!
